You’re just dying to know what these numbers are referencing, aren’t you? ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ 94 days ago, I weighed 213.4 lbs… This morning, I weighed in at 178.6. That’s a difference of 34.8 pounds… …not too shabby, huh? Here’s why I bring this up: Three and a half months ago, Ian Stanley and I were chatting in Boise about my chronic back pain… (And if you’ve been with me long enough, you’ve read about my stories that dive into that dark season of my life.) And in that conversion… Ian told me about the lifestyle changes he’s made around his eating, which helped significantly with a whole host of benefits, including: - Inflammation… - Weight Loss… - Mental Clarity… - Physical Energy… And by the end of that conversation… I felt hope for the first time in a long, long, long-ass time, and it brought a new sense of liberation I’d been yearning for. So, once I got home from that trip… I made a choice to commit myself to this new lifestyle to see how it’d work for me (because all 4 of those benefits above had me SOLD from that start.) And here’s where it gets good: 4-6 weeks before this lifestyle epiphany, I’d run a successful affiliate promotion with another well-known OG in the email copywriting game… …and with the earnings from that promo, I bought myself one of those HYDROW home rowing machines. And I'll tell ya - GAME-CHANGER… You see, once I’d made my choice to get in better shape, lose 40-50 pounds, and clear out some of the inflammation for my chronic back pain… …everything becomes infinitely easier – because there are no more choices to make, no more negotiations with myself, no more justifications, no more bartering, nothing… And with my big goal in mind… I committed myself to just two means with which I planned to achieve these goals: - Following this new eating style… - Hitting my Hydrow machine… And, to be honest… I’ve become a bit of a Hydrow junkie of late – not long ago, I hit the 100,000 meters award, and then a few weeks later, I just passed the 250,000 meters award… …and my goal by the end of 2022 is to reach the 1,000,000 meters rowed award. And here are my current stats… 300,715 down – 699,285 to go: That’s where today’s lesson comes in: Sometimes, I feel like that 1MM milestone is – quite literally – a million miles away… …and when I get hit with that mental storm, I resort to breaking down the little steps I can do each day to reach my goal… Goal: 1,000,000 meters… Progress: 300,715 meters… Remaining: 699,285 meters… Days Left In 2022: 237… Daily Goal: 2,950 meters… And just yesterday… I decided to do an impromptu PM rowing sesh (after a grueling AM rowing sesh), and I ended up beating all my single-day records: - Meters: 22,317… - Calories: 1,296… - Miles: 13.87… And with these two success meters… Eating properly and rowing consistently, I’m at the lowest weight and body fat percentage I’ve been in over a decade – with the lowest pain & inflammation in my back in 9 YEARS. Commitment. Consistency. One choice. This is where it all begins. So, why share all this with you today? Because it’s the SAME goddamn principles that allow you to become a significant email copywriter. Commit to what you wanna become. Create a plan that serves that path. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
