For your ads, sales letters, & emails. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ I’ve saved the best for last. That is, the last email in this mini-series about sales copy sequences, formulas, and checklists. And this beauty belongs to yet… Another 20th Century Legend, with a gangster-style nickname… “Rocket” Ray Jutkins. Betcha never heard that name before today. And isn’t that exactly what Copy Legends is all about? Showing you the lost wisdom of the old-school and immortal ink-slingers you won’t find anywhere else? This email delivers on that promise. Here, with Ray’s infamous “List of 99 Creative Ideas” – from his 1994 book, titled: “Power Direct Marketing.” But here’s the catch... We won’t be discussing all 99 in this email. Instead, I’ll be sharing… My TOP 3 favorites – and let me tell you, this was damn challenging, because this list is PACKED with brilliant bullets. Here they are: #9: Copy that sells is copy that is long on hard facts and benefits. Copy is not short or long, it is interesting or uninteresting. It is really as simple as that. #62: Remember the 6 PRoductivity Building Blocks, compliments of Tom Collins: - PRoduct – What’s unique, what’s the U.S.P (Unique Selling Proposition)? - PRospect – Who is your audience; who needs it? - PRoblem – Why is what you offer going to meet a need? - PRomise – What will your product do for the marketplace? - PRoof – Why should anyone believe you; what is your guarantee? - PRoposition – What is your deal – your offer – and why should the market respond now? #93: The writer of Genesis told the story of the creation of the world in 442 words. The Lord’s Prayer in the New Testament of the Bible is 68 words. Abraham Lincoln used 267 words for the Gettysburg Address. (By the way, an even 200 of the 267 words are 5-letter words or less… nearly 75% of the total!) And the United States government produced a report on cabbage that total 29,911 words. Enough said. Some powerful statements are brief. Some perfectly awful reading is far too long. Copy is not short or long – it is interesting or uninteresting. Can 29,911 words on cabbage be interesting to anybody? Hot diggity damn! And to think – that’s only 3 outta the 99 “Creative Ideas” by “Rocket” Ray Jutkins. This means… If you liked these ideas, then you’re gonna love the complete list. And it’s with the intention… Of providing you with as much value as possible, that I’ve transcribed the ENTIRE LIST for you below: [One of the largest resources you've seen yet: Rocket Ray Jutkins’ “99 Creative Ideas.”]( to stockpiling proven, powerful, & profitable ideas to use whenever you need ‘em most...
