Hello!
We know youâve probably had a million emails about companies updating their privacy policy, and weâre sad to say that this is another one of those emails. BUT itâs also a lot more than just that.
We want to take this opportunity to introduce a highly sought-after feature thatâs been requested by our customers a lot.
Search.
Day to day tasks and the development of other features have pushed this release back further than we wanted, but weâre happy to say that you can now (finally!) search through conversations all the way back to the very first hello.
That includes everything from message content to Chatra right-tab info such as agent notes and information collected via the pre-chat form or fetched using the Chatra API. All of it is indexed, served and ready for you to look up. Search is available on the paid plan, but drop us a line if you want to try it out â we can restart your free trial.
In many ways, the timing of the release is ideal; Chatraâs Search feature makes it easier than ever before to pinpoint who said what and when they said it. Perfect for checking up on the exact wording of user consent (that you can easily collect and neatly save with our updated [pre-chat form](
As well as updating our own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, weâve made a few product tweaks to help you comply with GDPR (aka DGVSO) too and published an easy-to-read actionable blog post about it.
