Hey girl… this one’s for you. Read on if you: - Hate your arms - Wouldn’t be caught dead in a tank top - Hide your arms in photos - Fear aging and looking like your mom or relatives If you answered yes to even one of these, I feel you boo! The deets I’m about to share are going to help. I promise. As we get older, our metabolism slows down, making it harder to stay lean. #ohthejoys I can’t tell you how many women over 40 I hear from who say they’re not doing anything different, but suddenly they’re gaining weight in weird places, have more cellulite and feel doomed to wear “mom blouses" from now until eternity. Whether it’s real, imagined, or you’re hating on your body because you’ve been conditioned to hate your body… it’s a cycle we can break. It’s a cycle you NEED to break!. Cuz hey, life’s too short to not wear what you want! In all sincerity, the toxic thinking and negative words you use on yourself will age you faster than a grape in the sun. Your words and thoughts are powerful! So let today be the day you stop, and try something new. Beauty isn’t just on the outside. I’m certain I can help sculpt your shoulders and reduce the flab, but if you’re hellbent on criticizing yourself, that beauty won’t shine through. I covered the following facts in detail in my recent [youtube video](=). Facts: - Hormones do play a major role. - No, you cannot spot-reduce your arms. - You can improve sagging skin (to a degree). - Genetics play a role, but you can fight them (and win). - Losing weight without adding muscle won’t correct the shape of your arms. - Lipo or plastic surgery might kickstart your journey, but you still need muscle. I decided to focus on my shoulders a couple of years ago. I wanted more symmetry, and I knew I had to change things up. I hired a trainer. I added an extra day of arms in the gym. I vowed to lift heavy, and with really good form. And it worked! Today I’m proud of my sculpted delts, and leaner physique, but to be honest, there’s a genetic component to the back of my arms that just is what it is… I break down the mental, emotional and physiological elements of sleek, strong arms in today’s podcast…and as a little gift, I also created a full workout for your arms and back in this week’s YouTube. I’ve got a [paid membership on Instagram](for my workouts, but wanted to give this one to you for free :) For the complete workout, including reps, sets, modifications, as well as lots of instruction on form and technique, check out my YouTube Channel below. [image](=) And hey, just so I know who the cool people are, comment: #Snapshot under the video! Here’s a cheat sheet screen shot for you too. Save it and bring it to the gym tomorrow! [image](=) Another hack I use for all of my workouts is to write them out before I go to the gym, as well as document how many sets and reps I do, and at what weight. That’s how you measure progress! I like to do this in my [Push Journal]() because it’s easy to bring with me to the gym. And good news for you, we have a bunch of new summer styles in stock now! I’m telling you, there’s NO better feeling than setting a measurable goal and achieving it. But the only way to do that is to write it down! So grab your Push Journal today before we sell out of our cute new styles. Love you, mean it!
