Here’s what’s next for me, {NAME}. [BTE Logo]( Hello {NAME}! This is Jessica Mason. As part of the BTE Team, you’ve probably heard of me. I ran for Texas’ 30th Congressional District as an endorsed Barrier to Entry PAC candidate. Although we didn't get the results that we had hoped for in the primary election, I’m incredibly proud of the fight we fought together. I started from scratch without any major funding or campaign resources, and I lacked the advantages, the rolodex, the connections, and the mega-donors that others had. But I had grassroots supporters like you and the help of Barrier to Entry PAC to run a bold, competitive campaign. Together, dollar by dollar, we built a movement that inspired the hearts and minds of working-class people across the country. We outraised the competition in individual small-dollar donations, which speaks VOLUMES of who our coalition was built and run by -- everyday people, like you. We were brave enough to demand ambitious, progressive solutions like universal healthcare, a Green New Deal, workers’ rights, and more. We called out corporate corruption and dark money. We lifted up the voices of the underserved and underrepresented and elevated their stories, OUR stories. We refused to be silent. And now, we will continue to fight — we will keep breaking socioeconomic barriers and work to build an equitable government that reflects people of ALL backgrounds and end the elitist culture of status quo corporate politicians. That’s why I’m so proud to announce that I’m joining Barrier To Entry PAC as the new Director of Campaigns! I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to support low-income candidates like me who want to make an impact but lack the startup funds and resources to run for office. But we can’t do this without you.
