You can help. [View in Browser]( [Amnesty International candle logo]( [Help: End war crimes in Gaza »]( Dear {NAME}, Each day in Gaza is a waking nightmare. Brutal bombardments fall everywhere, day and night. Airstrikes by Israeli forces are decimating Palestinian families, causing so much destruction that surviving relatives have little but rubble to remember their loved ones by. And while the world’s eyes are focused there, extremist Israeli settler violence is surging in the occupied West Bank — villages have been ransacked and at least 270 Palestinians have been killed since October 7. Through it all, the U.S. has failed to meaningfully address the unimaginable human suffering — so it's on us to respond. Amnesty’s crisis investigation teams are on the ground, working as quickly as possible to interview survivors and verify evidence in order to expose war crimes, protect civilians, and seek accountability for crimes committed by all parties to the conflict. When entire families are killed by indiscriminate airstrikes — some with U.S.-made weapons — [we must respond.]( When communities are intentionally cut off from food, fuel, water, and medical supplies, [we must respond.]( When civilians are targeted, killed, and taken hostage, [we must respond.]( Our top priority right now is to protect civilians and prevent further suffering in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Israel, and around the world — and we need your help. [To power our response to this crisis, and many more around the world, a generous group of Amnesty members has offered to triple MATCH every gift made before midnight tomorrow.]( By donating during this special matching period, you’re ensuring we can keep up our independent work around the world. [Palestinian children in Gaza]( Palestinian children look out at the rubble of a building destroyed during Israeli strikes on Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, on November 20. Photo by Mohammed Abed / AFP In this crisis and always, Amnesty is relentlessly focused on protecting civilian lives and ensuring international humanitarian and human rights law are respected. We have teams on the ground in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Israel working to expose war crimes and work towards accountability. But {NAME}, we can’t fall short in our work. [Act now]( Without immediate humanitarian intervention, the absence of shelter, sanitation, food, water and medical supplies will mean that more people could die of starvation and disease than bombardment. The people of Gaza desperately need immediate, unhindered and unimpeded humanitarian aid. Your support today can help: - Sustain Crisis Evidence Lab investigations to verify evidence of war crimes; - Shine light on human rights violations through our comprehensive research and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice; - Continue to ramp up our calls around the world demanding a sustained and meaningful ceasefire, an end to unlawful attacks, the delivery of immediate and unhindered humanitarian aid, the release of hostages, and respect for international law. [Plus, you can have three times the impact while every dollar you send is turned into three, thanks to a group of Amnesty members offering to triple match your donation up to our $200,000 goal.]( Please, join us today in standing alongside civilians in danger. The Amnesty global movement will be stronger because of people like you. Sincerely, Elizabeth Rghebi Advocacy Director, Middle East North Africa Amnesty International USA P.S. We have analyzed satellite imagery, verified photos and videos, identified munitions and weapons, and spoken with survivors of violations by all parties. Your donation gives Amnesty the power to mobilize whenever and wherever a crisis occurs to protect the lives of civilians.
