Your support of human rights is making a difference [View in Browser]( [Amnesty International candle logo]( [Here’s a personal message of thanks from me to you »]( [Video from Paul O'Brian]( Hi {NAME}, As I reflect on this year, you and your passion for human rights are top of mind. I’m thinking about how your support of our movement has: - Ensured that our Crisis Evidence Lab can investigate human rights violations and war crimes — in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Israel, Ukraine, Sudan, and wherever civilians are being attacked and killed in conflict zones; - Provided assistance to thousands of human rights defenders working under the threat of persecution and violence in Afghanistan, Ukraine, and elsewhere; - Funded independent research that exposed abuses by Iranian authorities against protesters, by harmful policies against asylum seekers at the U.S.-Mexico border, and by repressive leaders against many more individuals-at risk globally; and - Powered advocacy campaigns to keep hope alive for people whose lives and rights are on the line around the world. Our voices, our letters, and our collective pressure directly translates to the release of prisoners of conscience accountability for abuses, and systemic change. I’m so thankful that you care so deeply about human rights. In the face of every crisis and challenge this year, you’ve met the moment with action — whether you strengthened our critical programs with a donation or used your voice to demand change. [I’ve recorded a short message to share more of my gratitude and updates on how you’ve helped. I hope you’ll take a moment to watch it here.]( {NAME}: Amidst all the suffering we’ve witnessed, you’re bringing truth to light and driving progress for a better world. We still have work to do and there will be more for us to take on in the year ahead, but today I just want to say thanks and share more about the impact of your support. [Take a moment to check out my message for you »]( On behalf of myself and all of us at Amnesty, we share our sincerest gratitude and wish you a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season, Paul O’Brien Executive Director Amnesty International USA [DONATE NOW]( © 2023 Amnesty International USA 311 W 43rd Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10036 | 1-800-AMNESTY Please don't reply to this email.
