New $500 giveaway   Happy Sunday {NAME}! Last week, I showed you my good luck charm, a small, tiny jade Pixiu that my Mom gave me to carry. I was flooded with emails from so many of you asking where you could get a Pixiu charm or statue as well! There are a ton of Amazon sellers who sell Pixiu bracelets and charms. I would definitely stay away from buying a cheap, mass-produced good luck charm. I think a charm is extremely personal and has to already be filled with good energy, before it comes into your possession. You don't even have to buy a charm....it could even be an old coin that you found on a vacation. Last year, on a San Diego beach vacation with my boys, Nathan and I strolled along the shoreline, picking up pretty, smooth rocks that caught our eye. After an hour, we both had pocketfuls of heavy rocks. We sat down on the sand, emptied our pockets, and went through the rocks, one by one, until we each found THE ONE. Mine was matte black, with a strange shape on one end. I thought it would make a great massage tool. Nathan's was almost blue-black, completely smooth and almost perfectly oval. I keep my rock beside my bed. It serves as both a memento of the sweet moment with my son, a massage tool (to get deep into the muscle for occasional tennis elbow) and also a good luck charm. (and yep...I'm wearing my Raider's jersey, hoping that maybe next year Las Vegas Raiders will be in the Superbowl!?? I'll even let the team borrow my lucky rock!) xo Jaden & Dukey-boy P.S. {NAME}, I wish you an AMAZING Sunday full of laughter and cheer!! You know I love ya!
