Happy Wednesday {NAME}! (and also Happy Chinese New Year!) This email looks different! I know! This week, we switched email providers for Steamy Kitchen...to one that is easier to use and will help us grow and better communicate with all of you. We're celebrating Chinese New Year a little later than usual with the family. This Saturday, Mom will cook up a feast. Each dish has a meaning. The dish I'm most looking foward to is the [Chinese Sticky Rice Cakes]( (Nian "year" Gao "higher") translates loosely to "every year, may you reach higher and higher." I'll be bringing my [Firecracker Shrimp]( - the firecracker is meant to scare away the bad spirits. A lot of Chinese New Year traditions have to do with inviting good luck and prosperity to your life. Last year, when I was going through my divorce (and experienced a string of back luck), my Mom gave me a PIXIU charm to carry with me at all times. The Pixiu is a mythical creature, like a cross between a lion and a dragon, that attracts good fortune and wealth. To activate its auspicious powers, Mom instructed me to gently touch the Pixiu's head, and never, ever, ever its rear (which would be bad luck). It's so tiny! When I first got it, I was confused which was the head and which end was the rear. And, it's so small, that I had difficulty picking it up without accidentally touching the butt. Sure enough, my fortune changed shortly after getting him and diligently practicing my daily petting ritual. Do I really believe in the mythical powers of this little dude? The only answer that I have is that my MOM believes in it wholeheartedly. If it's good for Mom, it's good for me. Haha! Do you carry good luck charms or have any good luck rituals? xo Jaden & Dukey-boy P.S. {NAME}, may your year be filled with joy, good health and good luck! I'll pet my Pixiu and wish you good fortune :-) STEAMY KITCHEN CURRENT GIVEAWAYS NEW GIVEAWAYS! - Ninja Air Fryer - Fitbit Versa 2 - Shiatsu Back Massager THIS WEEK'S WINNERS - Mark Robitaille won the $500 Holiday Cash Giveaway - Christine Wheeler won the BodyBoss Home Gym - Nicole St Mour won the KitchenAid Stand Mixer WE JUST SENT PRIZES TO - Char Mccully from Nova Scotia, Canada was sent the BodyBoss Home Gym - Christine Wheeler from Bethany OK was sent the prize for the BodyBoss Home Gym - Kenneth Moore from Ocean Isle Beach, NC was sent the iPhone 11 - Cynthia Waterman from Lexington KY was sent the Samsung Smartwatch - Chad Larson from Moline, IL was sent the prize for the Kindle Kids Edition - Wendy Browne from Manvel TX was sent an Apple iPad - Mark Kirk from Adrian MI was sent the Ergonomic Chair - Verica Rosic from Stoney Creek, Ontario Canada was sent a gift card for the Wusthof - Maryann Platt from Marlboro, MA was sent the Circulon Cookware set - Erik Bjorn of Craigmyle, Alberta was sent the HP 14" Laptop - Paul Sheridan from Northport, ME was sent the $100 Visa Gift Card GIVEAWAYS IN PROGRESS [CLICK HERE TO ENTER GIVEAWAYS](  NEW: - Ninja Air Fryer - Fitbit Versa 2 - Shiatsu Back Massager ENDING SOON: - $500 Cash Giveaway - Ninja Foodi Grill MORE: - Char-broil Big Easy Infrared Smoker Roaster Grill - Toshiba 43-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV Giveaway - Cubii Jr. Under-Desk Elliptical Machine - Anolon Smart Stack Cookware Set - Apple MacBook Air - $100 Mastercard - Acer Aspire Laptop - $100 Starbucks Gift Card - Samsung Galaxy A10 Smartphone - ZGrills Wood Pellet Smoker & Grill (value $599) - NutriBullet Blender - $100 Amazon Gift Card - Canon Powershot Digital Camera - Bobby Flay at Home Cookbook + $100 gift card - Fitbit Versa - Apple AirPods with Charging Case - De'Longhi Multicooker - WaterPik Electric Toothbrush & Flosser - Keurig K-Cup Elite Coffee Maker - All new Amazon Fire HD Tablet - Calphalon Classic Self Sharpening Knife Set - Dyson Ball Multi Floor Vacuum - Amazon Kindle Paperwhite - $100 Amazon gift card - 50" Smart TV by TCL - Apple iPad (another one!) - Bia Watch for women ($225 value) - Power Air Fryer Oven - Miko Shiatsu Foot Massager - KitchenAid Mixer - PANASONIC Lumix 4K Digital Camera - HP 14" Laptop - T-Fal Cookware Set - $100 Walmart Gift Card [CLICK HERE TO ENTER GIVEAWAYS]( Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Steamy Kitchen, Inc., 2505 Anthem Village Dr #E428 , Henderson, Nevada 89052, United States
