You can now easily designate various states for the same screen in Zeplin. The latest from Zeplin We’ve had a wonderfully busy month here at Zeplin. New features like Screen Variants and Optimized Assets should help designers and developers bring designs to life — and hopefully add some joy to their day. Plus, hear from Femke, a product designer at Uber, on how she uses Figma+Zeplin together in her workflow. 🤩 There’s even more to share — check out what we’ve rounded up in this month’s update. Multiple screen states? Organize & manage them with Screen Variants Teams rely on Zeplin to organize designs using Sections and Tags, and now we’re going a step further. With Screen Variants, designers can now easily group multiple states of a screen into one Screen Variant, providing a better-organized design for the team. Developers no longer have to switch between screens that are, in fact, the same screen. [Learn more]( From the Community: Femke Design reviews Zeplin In case you missed it, we partnered with product designer Femke who shared how she uses Figma and Zeplin together. Learn how Femke provides a clear source of truth for engineers and other stakeholders on her team. We loved learning more about how Femke uses Zeplin and working together to share her workflow and practical tips with the UX community. [Watch now]( Get your optimized assets in Zeplin We know that after designers hand off design assets to developers, they often spend time optimizing those design assets. While Zeplin already provides some optimized formats like SVG, we’ve added more formats (JPG and PNG) as well as support for WebP assets. Your dev team can rest easy knowing that assets in Zeplin are ready to go. Try it out for yourself! [Go to your workspace]( Tracking changes with Version History In Zeplin, you’re in control of when versions are published. And when you add commit messages with each new version to track what’s changed, everything the team needs for a helpful and complete version history stays within the context of the design. Watch this quick video to learn how to end the guessing game when it comes to version history. [Watch now]( Catch Zeplin at DesignOps Our own Berk Cebi, co-founder and Chief Product Officer here at Zeplin, will be sharing how Zeplin was founded, what Design Delivery is all about and a cool product demo at the online DesignOps Global Conference. There’s still time to grab tickets for the event which runs June 8th-11th.
