Confession time. I like to window shop...especially for cars. For years I've been 'shopping' for a car. I never buy one, primarily because I travel so there's no point. Even now in Montreal where I live, I spent September using shared bikes, shared cars, an electric scooter and Uber. Oh and I walk a lot too. With the cold weather starting to hit, the lure of car ownership has become even stronger. Hence I spend my nights watching reviews on YouTube of electric cars like the Tesla 3, the BMW i3, the Fiat 500e and coming soon cars like the electric Mini Cooper and [Honda e](. Will I buy one? Probably not, but I sure like window shopping. What I Am Working On This week I've focused a lot on [InboxDone]( and our content marketing strategy. After conducting another great client case study video, this time with [Justin Brooke]( (one of our original three clients, who has been with us going on two years now), I decided it was time to get more content out there about our company. To this end, I've been creating clips, short highlight videos taken from our case studies, that we will share on social media. The content job never ends! What I Am Reading/Listening To I enjoy keeping track of politics. It's an incredibly frustrating part of our society, yet it's so important because of the resources governments have at their disposable. The US government in 2015 had a [budget of 3.18 trillion]( to spend, which equals about $12,000 per American individual. That's way more than any one individual billionaire philanthropist or company could ever spend to help others. Just recently I downloaded Hillary Clinton's book, [What Happened](, which is her account of everything leading up to and during the 2016 election cycle. It's been an eye-opening book. Many times I found myself shaking my head at the absurdity of the whole thing -- from the power of individuals to control the narrative of society, to the random nature of the press, to the interconnected world we live in and how easy it is to mislead people. What I Bought I've been wearing my [Oura Ring]( now for almost a week. It's a 'smart' ring, tracking my sleep and exercise. So far I've learned I'm doing a pretty good job of both sleeping and moving my body around enough. Although apparently I need to go to bed earlier... that's not likely to happen, too many car reviews to watch! How I Made Money Previously during September, I've always conducted some kind of launch for one of my coaching programs. This year I'm focusing on [InboxDone.com](, however that doesn't mean my training/coaching business is not operational. I have all kinds of automated training systems out there helping people. Even if I'm not working to promote my programs, they are, and thus, some sales come in. During September several people signed up to take [Blog Mastermind 2.0](, which always gets me excited -- it's my best course, in my humble opinion! That course teaches you how to set up your own automated selling systems using a blog and email list. Hopefully one day in the near future these new students will also enjoy the benefit of automated systems selling their products and services. Let's make October great! Talk to you next week.
