Congress must ACT to stop cyberbullying online and keep kids safe from predators. [View in browser]( {NAME}, Right after I announced my campaign to defeat Jim Jordan and represent my community in Congress, I immediately got to work tackling some big issues that would improve life for everyone. I have already drafted 9 bills that will be ready on Day 1 after I am elected—and a top priority of mine is protecting children from physical, mental, and emotional abuse. While my opponent Jim Jordan simply uses preventable tragedies like child trafficking to promote conspiracy theories, and does NOTHING to make a difference in real people’s lives, I am actively working to enact actual SOLUTIONS. My Cybersecurity bill is designed to protect kids from predators, online bullying, and safeguard their mental health. This week, the Surgeon General announced that he wants social media platforms to have a warning label, much like cigarettes and tobacco products. This is EXACTLY something that my Bill would do! BUT, the Surgeon General cannot act alone; warning labels require approval by Congress. This is another reason why this election is THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION in our lifetimes. Nothing will change with terrible, do-nothing extremists like Jim Jordan in Congress. Jordan has an awful record on sexual abuse and protecting youth: as Assistant Coach at OSU, he was told by many of his young athletes that the team doctor was sexually abusing them FOR YEARS, and Jordan did nothing. Jordan’s COWARDICE enabled the abuse. He could have said something at any time, even after it happened, to back up the wrestlers who needed his help, but he has remained completely silent to this day. There is so much we can achieve if we work together to win this election and unseat Jim Jordan. Imagine a world where Congress actually works to solve problems—Democrats and Republicans working together to get tough on cyberbullying and child exploitation.
