No regulations, no backgrounds checks, no protection. [View in browser]( {NAME}, The Supreme Court just upheld, by a vote of 8-1, a law barring domestic abusers from possessing guns. The sole dissent was from Clarence Thomas. 🙄 Anyone surprised? Of course he would dissent, he too is an abuser! Don't get me started about Jordan, Trump, Brett Kavanaugh, and other MAGA abusers. Their thirst for power, need for control, and entitlement make me sick! Jim Jordan has repeatedly advocated for repealing any and all common sense gun control measures, like universal background checks and opposes policies that protect victims of domestic abuse from being shot and killed by their abusers. My aunt was shot 4 times point blank with a 12-gauge shotgun. She lost her life to domestic violence. I, too, am a DV survivor. And now, I am writing legislation to reduce domestic violence. Jordan constantly screams that crime and violence is higher in Democratic run cities, but in 2023 in our Republican represented District, there were 2,017 domestic violence charges; and in Mansfield alone, there have been 24 murders due to gun violence in the last year. Jordan only makes this problem worse with his anti-law enforcement, pro-gun policies. Jim Jordan is a callous person with dangerous views that put the lives of women and victims of gun violence at risk. Jim Jordan stands with Clarence Thomas, who is the most corrupt Supreme Court Justice in history: Jordan backs the NRA over victims of abuse, and supports the total and complete right to brandish and own lethal weapons even when someone has proven themselves a danger to others, especially WOMEN. Protecting survivors of domestic violence, children, and other vulnerable people is a crucial part of this campaign's platform. Jim Jordan is a clear and present danger to our lives and MUST be defeated this year. [Will you help me defeat Jim Jordan?
