On the Path... [View in Web Browser]( [Access your FREE 15-minute insight call with Dylan]( Hi {NAME}, Congratulations, you've survived another incredible year on this great blue and green rock hurling through space. Well done! It's been a non-stop onslaught of ridiculous and threatening news narratives and social memes, and it takes courage to separate your truth from all the noise. So, if you haven't paused yet this holiday season to honor your perseverance, resilience, strength and courage, please do so now... you deserve it. The greatest act of courage I witnessed this year was the commitment one of [my coaching clients]( made to himself. After decades of being one of those high functioning and very successful addicts, his daily use of ketamine, THC, and alcohol finally stopped serving the purpose of distracting him from the negative emotions he's been living with since he was a child. His pain and suffering has been immense this year. Heartbreaking at times. And after numerous failed attempts and relapses this year, he is 64 days sober today. While he has finally broken the immediate grip of the chemical addiction, he is now facing the greater challenge of learning how to process the everyday pain he feels so that he can address the seemingly insurmountable problems, (financial, social, professional, and personal), a lifetime of addiction created, and train himself to let go of negativity in every moment. To walk with someone, in the trenches of their addicted life, as they battle this demon is intense, humbling, and inspiring. To me, the experience has all of the same energies I feel in a strong [yagé ceremony](. A thick slog through darkness, never giving up on the hope of finding the light you know is out there, even when all seems lost. Grace and softness seem to arrive at just the right moments, and are able to move more mountains and clear more debris than the greatest acts of force ever could. It's discomfort, pain, shame, surrender, then vision, clarity, and salvation. If you have the endurance and grit to pay the price, a priceless treasure is earned. ---- I love the sense of renewal and possibility during this last week of the year. I don't do resolutions, but I do spend this week creating a map for myself for the next year.  I'm reviewing, reflecting, and remembering the ups and downs of 2023, and to be fully honest, it was one of the most challenging years of my life. But I never gave up on myself. I never gave up on love. And in the end, I won the prize I was after. So this year I'm taking the inner peace, relaxed energy, focus, and power I've cultivated, and am doubling down on my commitment to myself and to my clients. I'm setting fitness goals so that I gain even more physical strength and flexibility. I'm digging through books I've read, gathering quotes and ideas to keep me inspired and motivated. I'm planning my diet so that I am clear on what I will use as fuel to keep my body strong, pain-free, and supple. I'm reflecting on relationships, giving thought to how those I care most about need me to show up for them in 2024. I'm zeroing in on the concepts, key phrases, and tools that will assist my clients in overcoming self-sabotage and emotional instability. And I'm celebrating my hard work by writing and speaking prayers of gratitude to myself and my creator. All of the legitimately negative events, situations, and experiences of the year suddenly seem like a fair price paid for the strength, peace, and commitment I feel today. ---- It is my observation that the truth seekers, watchers, empaths, and awakened souls out there... YOU AND I... are the ones who suffer most in this crazy artificial environment built around us. So much incongruity feels uneasy to us, because we live in closer proximity to truth than most others. Which is paradoxical, because you'd think our deep attraction to painful truth would indicate some sort of strength-based immunity to the negativity, but this is something we have to develop. We develop it by mastering the skills required to stand in higher consciousness as we stare into the abyss. And this is precisely what I've been working on in my own life this year, and something I regularly coach my clients on. How to escape the reward/punishment cycle in the relationship with your own emotional self, so that you can be relaxed and powerful, and have every ounce of your personal energy and power available to you, to create the outcomes you seek to experience for yourself. Anyhow, just thinking about life and all the people I'm connected to as I set myself up for success this year. Do you have a road map for 2024? If so, what are you steering towards? And more importantly, what are you leaving behind in 2023? If you're interested in my insight into any challenges you are presently facing, book a free 15-minute insight call with me, [HERE](.
