On the Path with Dylan Charles Hi Friends, I hope you're staying strong and keeping a high vibration

On the Path with Dylan Charles Hi Friends, I hope you're staying strong and keeping a high vibration in these stressful times. I delayed last week’s newsletter for a couple of reasons. The first was that I chose to focus on building some things in the background so that I can better accomplish my mission of helping millions of people awaken their inner authority, overcome self-sabotage, and step onto their unique path of self-mastery. More on that in a minute. The second reason was that I had a couple of powerful conversations toward the end of last week that really floored me, and I wanted to lean into my feelings about them before speaking to you all. In one, a friend came to me about problems he's having in his 20+ year marriage. The best way forward for him to save the marriage, as I see, is for him to yield a bit, and go against his nature of fiercely resisting conforming to the needs or demands of others. (In this case his wife.) In the other conversation, a loved one opened up to me about the pressure she is feeling to take the new medicine and conform to mandates and health orders at her job and career that she loves. Submitting to the new medicine violates her sense of self-ownership and doesn't make logical or rational sense to her. It is causing great distress. The best way forward for her, as I see, is to stand firm, resist conforming, and to speak up even louder about how she feels. In one case I see the best path is resistance, and in the other it seems more beneficial to yield. Without a deep understanding of this, I'd risk being hypocritical, so I’ve been seeking clarity on this for the last few days, asking how it is that we can know when it’s right to resist or yield. To me it boils down to the dance between love and fear. Love is worth changing for. Love is worth adapting to. Love is worth fighting for. Love is worth evolving for. Love is worth dying for. Fear deserves resistance, resilience and firmness. Fear needs boundaries. It needs to be contained. If we are in fact in a spiritual war, this is the essential question: With my life, am I to serve King Love or King Fear? I believe in love. I believe in relationships. I believe in nature. I believe in truth. I believe in choice. I believe the sacredness of life. I believe in the eternalness of spirit, and I believe in our return to source at the end of this ride. For love, I would yield to death itself. What about you? --------------------------------------------------------------- Friends, I’m ridiculously excited to step into a new chapter of my work both at Waking Times and as a [self-mastery coach](. I've been on 5 in the last couple of weeks. Here’s a link to the first of these… myself with the fabulous Daisy Oz. It was removed from YouTube within 48 hours of her posting it. Sign of the times. [Book Your FREE 15-Minute Insight Call with Dylan Charles]( --------------------------------------------------------------- What’s up in my personal life? To be honest, the conversation about the new medicine mandates has been totally occupying my personal life as well as my professional life. It’s taking it’s toll on everyone around me, and it’s starting to affect my well-being. To combat the stress it's having on me, I’ve been extra mindful about self-care, which for me begins with exercise and taking care of my body. I’ve been working out more, doing lots of burpees, and spending lots of time on the rowing machine. I like being strong. Although my kettle bells prolly hate me for how much I abuse them. LOL. I also make a point of eating raw, fresh veggies throughout the day. Sounds simple and silly I know, but snacking on carrots and avocados and such is really quite energizing. I'll pass through the kitchen and just grab an organic bell pepper or something. It's one of those small things that yields surprising results. My amazing wife took me out last weekend and got us room downtown. That was fun. 😉 She's my anchor and I'm blessed beyond belief to have her in my life. I’ve been wanting to sit down and work on a painting I started last year, but have been so occupied with work and fixing up our new house that it feels too indulgent to stop and paint. This one is called ‘Laughing Jaguar,’ which is my spirit name as given to me by my Secoya elders and teachers from the Amazonian medicine tradition I'm part of. I’ll let you know when I finish it, but here’s where it’s at… Friends, I want to say that your courage is needed. If you know what is going on, and you have the conviction to resist it, please speak out so that you may embolden others. Courage is as contagious as any illness. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the latest episode of my podcast. This is with Sir Julian Rose, and is def one of my favorite conversations to date. Enjoy!
