{NAME}, I wanted to let you know how humbled I am to have you as a member of Team Clarke. Though there are still votes being counted from Tuesday’s primary election, I am in awe of the number of neighbors, friends and constituents who showed up to the polls on Election Day – in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic – to support my re-election. I couldn’t be more honored to continue to represent the community in which I was born and raised. No matter if you have been with me since the days when my mother and I served you in the City Council, or if you recently joined Team Clarke as I advocate for us in Washington, I am incredibly grateful for your trust in my leadership of the community we both love and call home. From the very beginning, I promised that I would fight everyday for the issues that matter to us most. And today, we are living through a double pandemic. Not only are we fighting for our lives and reeling from the impacts of COVID-19, but we are also battling the deadly and debilitating disease of widespread, systemic racial injustice. Rest assured that our fighting spirit can never be defeated, and that I am eager to continue working with you to get our community back on track. Thank you again for all of your support, and I look forward to continuing working with each and every one of you to make New York’s Ninth Congressional District the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
