Stop browsing, start watching! The best TV shows and movies to watch on every screen ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r Happy MLK Day! Three-day weekends are a 50 percent increase in leisure time and a 20 percent decrease in work time, so we did the math and came up with this formula: watch more TV. Numbers don’t lie. Here’s what to watch this sorta slow week. (Don’t worry, things pick up big time next week!) -Tim [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!](ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r) ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r SEASON 4 PREMIERES MONDAY AT 10/9C ON TBS [Miracle Workers reaches its end times](ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r) Simon Rich’s anthology comedy has been to heaven, the Dark Ages, and the Oregon trail, but it’s all coming to the end of the world in Season 4 as it heads to a post-apocalyptic wasteland influenced by the Mad Max films. Miracle Workers: End Times continues Rich’s knack for placing relatable pressures on characters in extreme circumstances (see: Rich’s previous series Man Seeking Woman) as Daniel Radcliffe plays a man who moves to the suburbs with his new love (Geraldine Viswanathan) while society barely hangs on by a thread. It’s a silly comedy packed with sharp satire, social commentary, and Steve Buscemi. ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r TUESDAY AT 8/7C ON NBC, THURSDAY ON NETFLIX [Two comedies are exhumed, with mixed results](ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r) The reboot machine continues to chip away at the musty lining of the empty well of individual ideas and churn out “content,” and this week we’re getting TWO comedies based on existing properties. Tuesday is the return of Night Court, the great 1980s sitcom that was part of NBC’s historically strong comedy block and followed the wacky happenings at the night shift of a Manhattan court of law. John Larroquette returns as lawyer Dan Fielding, and the show sticks to its roots with a throwback style of sitcom humor. Thursday is the premiere of That ‘90s Show, a follow-up to the beloved late-’90s sitcom That ‘70s Show, catching up with the daughter of Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon) as she lives with her grandparents Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) and Red (Kurtwood Smith) in the mid-1990s. As expected, neither are great, but That ‘90s Show is so bad that Night Court [looks pretty good](ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r). ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r EXTRA CREDIT [More shows like Abbott Elementary](ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r) After another round of [cleaning up at an awards show](ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r), Abbott Elementary has proven once again that it’s the top broadcast comedy on TV right now. Abbott, then check out [these other shows for lessons in wholesome comedy, series set at schools, and dysfunctional workplace sitcoms](ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r). ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r HERE’S TO 2023 [The most anticipated shows of the year](ssdWiEDNT:m:1:2364960064:C6782247803A22214017D8E75E7AB5C9:r) You’ve already broken your New Year’s resolutions (let’s lose weight next year after I finish this pizza), but that doesn’t mean you should count the rest of the year out.
