Stop browsing, start watching! The best TV shows and movies to watch on every screen WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r Hi!
One of my life’s greatest accomplishments is not losing one of my AirPods. Somehow, I’ve retained possession of both despite my malformed earholes spitting them out at every opportunity. Perhaps you haven’t been so lucky. Then now would be a good time to get a new pair (or your first!), because the second gen Apple AirPods are on sale for $99. That’s probably the best deal you’ll find on these ever, and it’s just one of the bargains on [our rundown of the best deals of the week](WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r). Get a soundbar, you deserve it! Especially at a good price. Here’s what to watch this week. -Tim [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!](WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r) WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r MONDAY AT 8/7C ON PBS; TUESDAY AT 9/8C ON HBO, HBO MaX [Benjamin Franklin and Tony Hawk get docs](WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r) Did Benjamin Franklin invent the 50-50 grind? Did Tony Hawk ever prove electricity by getting hit by lightning during a half-pipe aerial? Maybe. On Monday, Ken Burns’ four-hour, two-part Benjamin Franklin looks at the founding father ultimately with admiration, but doesn’t shy away from his faults (though Ben was allegedly a better and more interesting person than his peers). On Tuesday, the godfather of skateboarding is under Sam Jones’ lens in the feature-length Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off, which is at its best when it shows Hawk trying to problem solve and how everyone just has to get out of the way when he’s in the process. Both are solid docs on two incredibly accomplished men. WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r WEDNESDAY ON NETFLIX [Watch The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, or else!](WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r) Have you noticed that [Netflix is canceling your favorite shows](WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r) (bye bye, Baby-Sitters Club) and replacing them with dating shows? Get used to it. As Netflix realizes it needs to make profit, reality shows like Love Is Blind and Too Hot to Handle — popular shows that cost a fraction of scripted series — will live forever. Netflix’s newest dating show is The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, where young couples with one person who is ready for marriage put their relationships to the test by… dating other people? The couples mix and match and live together for several weeks, watch their partners date others, and then decide whether marriage to their original partner is still on the table. Despite the premise, it’s not too scandalous and appears to be the laziest of all of Netflix’s dating shows, with no real discernable social value. But is it addictive? You bet. For something more intellectually and emotionally stimulating but covering similar ground, [may I recommend Showtime’s excellent Couples Therapy](WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r)? WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r SERIES PREMIERE THURSDAY ON HBO MAX [Tokyo Vice is Michael Mann’s return to TV](WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r) For some of us, the most exciting thing about Tokyo Vice is that it marks the great Michael Mann's (Miami Vice, Heat) return to TV for the first time in over a decade. This crime drama series, which Mann directs, is based on the memoir by American journalist Jake Adelstein, set during his years covering the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department for one of Japan's biggest newspapers and documenting the web of corruption happening just under the surface. Adelstein is played by Ansel Elgort, and he's joined by Rinko Kikuchi, Ken Watanabe, and Rachel Keller. [As Liam Mathews says in his review](WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r), it’s a bit of a slow burn, but Mann’s eye for gritty, neon-lit city drama is unmatched. -Allison Picurro WPawReHN5:m:1:2364960064:48F4A87CECE0D4E51B16D0B74C3A269D:r

What’s not to like about a comedy that pokes fun not just at death, but at spirits trapped in purgatory forever and the millennials stuck in the haunted house with them? If you are also a fan of Ghosts, then maybe you’re ready to move on to more shows with similar sentimentalities.
