Stop browsing, start watching! The best TV shows and movies to watch on every screen sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r Hi!
Today is like the Black Friday of the TV world, because there are deals, deals, deals everywhere! Well, if you consider more shows and movies than you have time to watch a deal. Since Thanksgiving break is coming up, streamers are inundating you with massive releases in hopes that you do nothing but watch TV over the next week. Because it’s so busy and this newsletter can only hold so much, I’ll run down some of the shows and movies coming out today that couldn’t fit below. Will Smith plays Serena and Venus Williams’ pop in HBO Max’s King Richard, and he hopes he’s serving up a smash winner so he can get an Oscar nod. Andrew Garfield is Rent composer Jonathon Larson in Netflix’s tick, tick… BOOM!, which also stars Vanessa Hudgens. Train to Busan director Yeon Sang-ho adapts his comic The Hell in Netflix’s new Korean horror Hellbound. The best-reviewed of the bunch is Netflix’s documentary Procession, which follows survivors of sexual abuse by Catholic priests as they work through their trauma. That’s in addition to season finales of Apple TV+’s Foundation and The Morning Show, Paramount+’s Oasis concert documentary, and whatever you’re still catching up on. Good luck out there! Below are even more shows to check out this weekend. -Tim [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!](sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r) sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r SEASON 1 NOW ON NETFLIX [If you’ve never heard of Cowboy Bebop then you will probably like Cowboy Bebop](sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r) Let’s get this out of the way right now: Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop is not the exact same show as the beloved anime that inspired it. And the general consensus out there based on very unscientific research that I’ve done — scanning headlines and Reddit, answering angry tweets — is that if you’re a fan of the anime (also streaming on Netflix), you’ll hate the show, but if you’ve never seen the anime, you’ll like the live-action adaptation. That pretty much tracks with every other adaptation out there, I suppose. Anime fans, go ahead and skip to the next blurb, I’m gonna talk to the noobs. Cowboy Bebop is a space Western following a team of bounty hunters who traverse planets in search of criminals, but it’s the odd cocktail of details within that make it a very fun time. The jazz soundtrack, the comedic banter, the mix of ‘70s action and sci-fi, and one adorable Corgi all come together to give it a real unique character… if you’ve never seen the anime. In strange ways, it reminds me of Supernatural, The Witcher, and Justified. Though there are some bumps early on and some episodes aren’t nearly as good as others, I’m really enjoying all the weirdness, particularly watching frenemies John Cho as Spike and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine go toe-to-toe in a war of words. Yes, it isn’t the anime, but that’s the point. Bringing Cowboy Bebop to a new audience was always going to piss off the old audience. sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r SERIES PREMIERE NOW ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO [The Wheel of Time gets the 'Is this the next Game of Thrones?' talk rolling again](sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r) Speaking of adaptations! It's no [billion-dollar Lord of the Rings TV series](sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r) (that's coming soon courtesy of Prime Video), but Amazon's Wheel of Time is based on another popular high fantasy book series and has its own goals of becoming the next Game of Thrones. It's got the usual fantasy boxes to check off: a prophecy about a powerful young person who will save the world, vast world-building that requires its own atlas to keep track of, British accents (why is everyone always British?), and a roster of characters that will take you a few seasons to familiarize yourself with. But as Keith Phipps [says in his review](sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r), after you get past the initial premise — a magician (Rosamund Pike) takes five young people on an adventure to figure out which one of them is "the dragon reborn" — and the deeper you go beyond the initial episodes, the more this looks like it could actually be the next big thing, thanks to an engaging universe and characters you might actually care about. Three episodes are out today, with more coming weekly. sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r SEASON 2 NOW ON HULU [The Great is… what’s the word we’re looking for?](sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r) Huzzah! Tony McNamara's The Favourite-flavored, comedic royal remix is back for Season 2, which finds Catherine (Elle Fanning) finally claiming the Russian throne and owning her title as Catherine the Great (it's the titular role!). Thrust into a new dynamic with Peter (Nicholas Hoult), Catherine will continue to spar with her court, her husband, and her mother (Gillian Anderson!) over how best to rule. She's also having a baby, but no pressure. -Kelly Connolly sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r

We got you!](sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r) We’re still months away from new episodes of Outlander, which last aired new chapters almost two years ago. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get the steamy, slightly supernatural romance of the show elsewhere. We’ve got a list of shows all Outlander fans could use to pass the time between seasons. sMffwYH5N:m:1:2364960064:96002726D6822261B9CE4FBC4F3E236E:r
