Stop browsing, start watching! The best TV shows and movies to watch on every screen WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r Hi! Every four years, I tell myself I’m not going to watch the Summer Olympics, and every four years I end up watching way more than I thought I would. I don’t know if I can say that I enjoyed it — the lack of fans, the disappointing performance by U.S. favorites, NBC’s typical schmaltzy coverage — but I definitely watched it. I would have enjoyed a lot more if NBC had utilized Peacock in any sensible manner, though. Comcast and NBC’s streaming service was hardly good for anything other than live streams of men’s basketball (the only real effort NBC made to draw viewers to Peacock), and the promised on-demand replays of events were few and far between what I expected. Considering NBC had an extra year to prepare Peacock for this, it seems like a major failure on its part. Hopefully Comcast fixes things in time for the Winter Olympics, which are *gulp* only months away. Here’s what to watch this week. -Tim [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!](WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r) WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r SERIES PREMIERE MONDAY ON HULU [Reservation Dogs is a comedy with a unique Indigenous POV](WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r) Taika Waititi and Sterlin Harjo co-created this comedy about four Indigenous teenagers living on a reservation in Oklahoma who, after the death of their friend, turn to petty crime in order to make money in the hopes of getting out of their hometown. The series is a laid-back good time that sparkles because of Waititi's signature comedic style, and in [her review for TV Guide](WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r), Candice Frederick described it as "the chillest time you'll spend watching TV." I can't think of a better endorsement than that. Two episodes air Monday, others will be released weekly. -Allison Picurro WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r SERIES PREMIERE TUESDAY ON NETFLIX [Untold revisits an NBA scandal through today’s lens](WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r) The latest season of the always incredible Hard Knocks, focusing on the Dallas Cowboys this season, premieres Tuesday night (HBO, 9/8c), but sports fans should also check out the premiere episode of this new Netflix docuseries that dives deep into sports stories of the past. Tuesday's episode covers the infamous Malice at the Palace, made infamous when Indiana Pacers player Ron Artest went into the stands at Detroit's Palace at Auburn Hills and brawled with fans. What makes this event so great to revisit now is how differently it would have been handled today. Back then, Artest and his teammates were villainized as "thugs," with little blame pinned on the fans who overstepped their bounds and the lack of security provided by the Pistons. Seeing it all again — with new footage! — is just as insane as seeing it for the first time, and with a new narrative, the careers of several of these players would have been drastically altered. WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r FINAL SEASON PREMIERES THURSDAY AT 8/7C ON NBC [Brooklyn Nine-Nine walks its last beat](WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r) It's been so long since we've seen the gang over at the Nine-Nine, and now Brooklyn's favorite precinct is closing its doors for good. In its final season, Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero) adjust to life as new parents, and in an attempt to comment on the ways the world has changed during the hiatus, the series will [apparently address police brutality](WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r) in its final episodes. Two episodes will air per week. -Allison Picurro WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r GET OUT OF HERE, OLD SHOWS [Here are the best new shows of 2021](WmXjvtdWN:m:1:2364960064:9EBFAA8F339B310B5D2346EC0563485B:r) Your queue is 15 shows deep and full of series from years ago, but you can’t resist the temptation of a brand new show. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
