The new season will also see the introduction of Daniel Dae Kim’s character, a surgeon who was originally supposed to appear last season but saw his episode pulled after its subject matter — a flu pandemic — was deemed too close to home to air just as everything was shut down. Using her mom's (also Poehler) protesting past as inspiration, Vivian starts a pro-woman 'zine that shifts the culture and sends the chauvinists scampering.
