Some nuns slowly go mad in FX’s new exotic miniseries, fans of The Crown have a bunch more show

Some nuns slowly go mad in FX’s new exotic miniseries, fans of The Crown have a bunch more shows to watch, is the new Saved by the Bell good or not? Hello! This would normally be the week when you run around in a panic as you try to get as much work done before Thanksgiving break, brave the grocery store for a can of creamed corn and everything else you forgot to get for Thursday’s grand feast, and find time to sit in hours of traffic en route to your family’s house. But this year, it’s TV dinners and Zoom calls for all on Thanksgiving. It sucks, but we’re all about safety first and would really like to be able to celebrate Thanksgiving next year. One thing to be extra thankful for this year? Lots of good new TV out this week. Check out our picks below. -Tim [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!]( [Black Narcissus]( Miniseries airs Monday on FX at 8/7c, Tuesday on Hulu [Paint it Black Narcissus]( Nuns being tempted by horniness is nothing new, but it doesn't get old, does it? FX and BBC co-produce this three-episode miniseries that's an adaptation of the 1939 novel by Rumer Godden (which spawned the famous 1947 film), in which a superfluity of nuns (including Gemma Arterton) try to establish a school at the old palace of an Indian raja on an isolated mountain in the Himalayas in the late 1930s. Maybe it's the altitude, maybe it's the handsome British adventurer who is helping them out, maybe it's ghosts, but the nuns start to go nuts, possibly working their way to reliving a tragedy that struck the palace years before. It's a full-on slow-burn psychological drama, so if you enjoy getting into the heads of characters as they question their devotion and morals and their sanity slowly erodes, you'll enjoy it. It also features Dame Diana Riggs' final role before she passed away. This is over quick: All three episodes air Monday night, and will be on Hulu the following day in case you prefer leftovers. [The Flight Attendant]( Thursday on HBO Max [The Flight Attendant will put you in an upright position]( Kaley Cuoco ditches the Penny of The Big Bang Theory and Priceline pitchman personas in favor of something a little more daring and fun. She stars in this miniseries about a hard-partying flight attendant who engages in a one-night stand in Bangkok with a hunk (Game of Thrones’ Michiel Huisman) and wakes up next to his freshly murdered corpse. Penny would never do that! Priceline lady might though. [What follows is a dark comedy that doubles as a murder mystery]( as Cuoco's character tries to piece together what happened, evade authorities, and find the murderer. The first episode is now available on HBO Max ([click here]( it’s hard to find), but the series officially premieres Thursday with the first three episodes, with new episodes coming weekly. [Saved by the Bell]( Wednesday on Peacock [Did we really need a Saved by the Bell revival?]( Well, we got one.
