30 Rock Zoom-reunites at the behest of NBCUniversalâs marketing department. Plus, a hilarious British reality show comes to the CW, a psychological thriller movie debuts on Netflix, and much more.
Hello!
TV Guide’s [TV Throwback]( week continues today with a journey through the 2000s, a TV era when the men were difficult and the housewives were desperate. We compiled a list of [the best 2000s shows and where to stream them]( just like we did for the [‘70s]( [‘80s]( and [‘90s](. We also ranked [the 50 best episodes of The Office]( the defining show of the ‘00s, ‘10s, and today, [rewatched Greek and became Team Max]( and made the case for why [Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Netflix resurgence]( is so richly deserved. The package continues tomorrow with the 2010s. Here are tonight’s TV picks. -[Liam](

[30 Rock is back for a meta-special](
Thursday at 8/7c on NBC
Tina Fey's beloved comedy returns for... actually, I'm not sure what this is. It's billed as a one-off special, it's kind of a reunion (since 30 Rock went off the air seven years ago), but it's also going to be an infomercial of sorts. See, the hourlong special will also double as NBC's Upfronts presentation, which is usually a big industry event closed to everyone but press and advertisers in which a network shows off its upcoming new shows, schedule, and stars in an effort to get Madison Ave. to open up its wallet. But since the coronavirus is making things difficult on everyone, NBC is trying this stunt out instead. Parks and Recreation delivered [one of the best quarantine productions so far]( but can 30 Rock replicate that AND properly hype up the [new Law & Order spin-off]( This will be an interesting watch for industry insiders and the curious, if no one else. Note: local NBC affiliates are [boycotting]( this special because they feel it will be too much of an advertisement for NBCUniversal’s new streaming service Peacock, which they see as competition. Check your [local listings]( or watch it on one of NBCU’s cable channels on Friday. -Tim Surette

[Killer Camp is slashing reality](
Thursday at 8/7c on The CW
The biggest problem with reality competition shows is that sobbing losers are shuffled off the set in the back of a luxury SUV or have a symbolic torch put out to punctuate their elimination. Boring! In Killer Camp, contestants who get kicked off the show are MURDERED. Well, sorta. The tongue-in-cheek British reality series, which already aired in the U.K. on ITV, is set at a fake American summer camp where its millennial campers must sniff out which one of them is secretly controlling a hooded serial killer that "kills" them when they're eliminated. There are games to get immunity like Survivor, flirty relationships like Love Island, and paranoia among the cast like The Mole, but the coolest parts are the eliminations, in which a contestant is killed in gruesome, slasher-film fashion with the help of prosthetics and plenty of fake blood. Fun! -Tim Surette

[Get fatally attracted to Fatal Affair](
Now on Netflix
Netflix contains multitudes. It has a lot of [great Black films]( but it also has direct-to-DVD-caliber ones like Fatal Affair, a psychological thriller whose unsubtle title says it all. But formulaic movies like this don’t have to be good to be fun! Nia Long stars as a woman who reconnects with an old flame (Omar Epps), but rejects him because she can’t bring herself to cheat on her husband (Stephen Bishop). So he becomes obsessed with her, and starts stalking her and getting dangerously involved in her life, with, y’know, fatal consequences. Fatal Affair is directed by Peter Sullivan, who also directed last year’s very similar Secret Obsession with Brenda Song, which Netflix says was watched by [40 million people](. Quality has nothing to do with it.

[Make a Skin Decision](
Now on Netflix
Netflix also knows that what worked in the past will work again, with cosmetic changes (see what I did there?). This reality series goes inside the Beverly Hills office of plastic surgeon Dr. Sheila Nazarian and skincare expert Nurse Jamie as they use the latest cosmetic procedures to repair their clients' damaged skin and help them become more confident versions of themselves. It's [Extreme Makeover]( without that show's gawky early '00s cruelty. Things that used to be mean have been rebranded as inspirational now (See also: ABC's [Simon Cowell]( [American Idol]( the rebooted [The Biggest Loser](.
Make it a movie night
[Pride & Prejudice & Netflix](
Now on Netflix
Joe Wright’s well-regarded 2005 adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel hits the Flixter today, and if you haven’t watched it in a while, pop it on! Keira Knightley started her dominance of the costume drama literary adaptation space here, and was nominated for an Oscar for her performance as Elizabeth Bennet. Plus, it introduced audiences to Matthew Macfadyen, who was basically unknown when he took on the iconic role of Mr. Darcy and is now known as Tom from Succession. It’s a very lively Austen adaptation that’s faithful yet modern.
