[Mrs. America ends on a bittersweet note](
Series finale now on Hulu
The finale of FX’s powerful limited series about the women’s movement and the attempt to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment ends on a powerful and bittersweet but also unsurprising note for anyone who lived through the ‘70s and ‘80s or who is well acquainted with history, but that doesn’t mean you should skip the hourlong episode either. In fact, Cate Blanchett is again stellar, especially in the silence that follows anti-feminist Phyllis finding out she won’t be named to Reagan’s cabinet and has been relegated back to the kitchen after all of her work to stop the ERA’s progress. The episode is a proper bookend to the series, but the show overall is an important educational tool for women as the fight to ratify the ERA continues to this day.

[You can also watch history being made today, if you want to](
Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT on Discovery and Science Channel
For the first time since the U.S. retired the Space Shuttle program in 2011, Americans will launch into space from Kennedy Space Center, and will do so on a commercial spacecraft. You can watch the historic mission unfold in real time as NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley become the first humans to launch on a commercial spacecraft destined for the International Space Station. While I don’t think this is, say, as monumental as putting a man on the moon, this is definitely an exciting moment in history, so whether you’re a space nerd or a history nerd or you’re just bored this afternoon, you can’t beat this simulcast of today’s launch. If you just want to tune in for the launch itself, it’s scheduled for approximately 4:33 p.m. ET.

[Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to the past to save the future](
Final Season Premiere Wednesday at 10/9c on ABC
Over the course of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s run, the team has been everywhere and seemingly done everything, but they've never been here before: the 1930s. Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the gang are thrust back in time in the show's final season premiere, and with the Zephyr set to jump through time at any moment, there's a ticking clock on figuring out what happened. And oh, yeah, if they fail, it could have big implications for the past, present, and future. No biggie! The plus side to all of this time-traveling, of course, is that at some point this season, Enver Gjokaj will be reprising his role as Daniel Sousa from the dearly beloved but canceled Marvel's Agent Carter, the best Marvel TV show (sorry, it’s true).
ARE YOU THE ONE?
[Love Life is familiar, but comforting](
Now on HBO Max
I can’t in good faith tell you HBO Max’s new rom-com Love Life is actually good, but even terrible rom-coms have their place in the world ([here’s the proof]( and this new series is no different. The 10-episode first season (three episodes are available at launch) follows the complete romantic history of Anna Kendrick’s Darby, a young woman who has centered her life on the pursuit of love, determined to believe the outdated and blatantly false idea that if she can just find The One, it will bring her complete happiness and prove that she is actually loveable. Despite Darby’s inability to evolve and the sometimes cringe-inducing ability of the anthology series — each season will chronicle a new character’s love life — the familiarity of the show’s narrative beats once again tap into our universal desire to love and be loved, making us believe in happily ever afters. This is not groundbreaking storytelling, but honestly, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, or even the point.
