Pixarâs Onward hits Disney+ months before originally scheduled, Freeform assures viewers that Everythingâs Gonna Be Okay as long as we stay home and marathon TV, and Hawaii Five-0 says aloha after 10 seasons.
Happy Friday!
We did it! We made it through another work week of social distancing and Zoom meetings and only putting “professional clothes” on half of our bodies! Of course, the weekend doesn’t necessarily mean much since we’re all staying home and washing our Dorito dust-covered hands every 20 minutes and definitely not going outside. I guess Fridays don’t elicit the same kind of excitement they used to since we can’t go out to eat or whatever people used to do for fun on weekends (I haven’t left my house since 1996). Anyway, since we are all staying in, it’s a good thing the next few days are full of great things to watch! Here are this weekend’s picks. – Kaitlin

[I promise Everything’s Gonna Be Okay if you watch this Freeform show](
Beginning Friday at 5:30/4:30c on Freeform
As part of Freeform’s campaign to get everyone to stay home, the network is airing a marathon of its delightful new comedy Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, from creator and star Josh Thomas. The marathon features the first season of the show, which stars Thomas as Nicholas, a neurotic gay twentysomething who becomes the primary caretaker for his two younger half-sisters, one of whom is autistic, after the death of their father. It’s witty, it’s sweet, and it’s incredibly poignant. It’s also [one of the best new shows of 2020](. So if you missed the show during its run this winter, now is the perfect time to catch up. After all, you literally have no excuse because you’re staying home, right?

IT’S ABOUT THE JOURNEY, NOT THE DESTINATION
[Chris Pratt and Tom Holland will make you cry in Pixar’s Onward](
Now on Disney+
After the success of Frozen, someone at Pixar HQ wrote "Frozen for brothers" on a whiteboard during a brainstorm meeting. Onward is the result. This animated family flick is set in a world where magic exists but people (well, elves and centaurs and manticores and other such mythical creatures) forgot how to use it because of technology. The only folks who still care about it are nerds like Barley (Chris Pratt), who embarrasses his self-conscious younger brother Ian (Tom Holland) with his lack of social graces. On Ian's 16th birthday, he receives three gifts from his father, who died before he was born: a magical gem, a staff, and a "visitation spell" that will bring him back for one day. But when the gem breaks while Ian and Barley are casting the spell and only their father's legs are rendered, the brothers go on a quest to find another one. Along the way, they learn a lot about themselves and each other. Onward has all the sweet comedy and emotional resonance you expect from a Pixar movie. After you watch it, you and your family will compare which parts made you cry. –Liam Mathews

[Let Money Heist take over your weekend](
Season 4 now on Netflix
Known overseas as La casa de papel, Netflix's popular Spanish drama about money heisting (that's a technical term) returns for its fourth season next month. In the new episodes, things are lookin' pretty rough as the Professor's (Álvaro Morte) plan begins to unravel and the thieves have to fend off enemies from both inside and outside the Bank of Spain. And if the new season isn't enough heist-related content for you, Netflix is also releasing a companion film known as Money Heist: The Phenomenon, which looks at how and why the show has sparked such a large following around the world.

[Hawaii Five-0 rides off into the absurdly beautiful sunset](
Series Finale Friday at 9/8c on CBS
In his case, "Aloha" definitely means goodbye. After 10 seasons, CBS's remake of da kine police procedural is hulaing in its last luau and depriving me of much forced Hawaii-related wordplay. William Sadler returns as John McGarrett, and his son Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) will finally solve the case his dad left for him 10 years ago. But it isn't all happy farewells, as Danny (Scott Caan) gets badly wounded by Wo Fat's wife, who's out for revenge. –Tim Surette
CHARLOTTE, SOMETIMES
[Westworld answers its season’s biggest mystery yet](
Sunday at 9/8c on HBO
An improved (well, less confusing) season of Westworld has been quiet on the big secrets and reveals compared to seasons past, but Season 3 has repeatedly teased one: [Who is in Charlotte Hale’s body]( The Delos exec was bodyjacked by Dolores in the Season 2 finale, but now is being controlled by someone unknown. You’ll find out who on Sunday as Dolores’ plan to take revenge on us fleshy meat bags comes closer to fruition, but if you want to see me go through my actual theories of who is controlling Charlotte,[you can watch this video](. Just don’t make fun of my quarantine hair, thanks. –Tim Surette
