Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens signs off (for now), Crip Camp shines a light on an often overlooked battle for disability rights, a new COVID-19 special attempts to answer a few questions, and Samantha Bee is in the woods.
Hello!
On this day in 1965, Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights protestors completed their 50-mile march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama. On this day in 2020, a whole bunch of people sat on their couches and watched TV to pass the time. But you know what? While that might be considered “lazy” at any other moment in time, it’s actually what you’re supposed to be doing! So take pride in knowing you’re playing a major role in a historical moment by literally doing nothing at all. You never know, maybe someone will one day write about you. Until then, here are tonight’s picks. – Kaitlin

[You don’t have to leave your house to go to Crip Camp](
Now on Netflix
One of the films produced by the Obamas as part of their deal with Netflix, Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution is a documentary that spotlights the rarely discussed topic of disability rights. Centering on a ‘70s summer camp for disableed teens near Woodstock and directed by Nicole Newnham and Jim LeBrecht -- the latter of whom actually attended the camp in question -- the film reveals how a group of campers and counselors became activists who shaped the disability rights movement and led to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Using first-hand accounts and camp footage from 1971 to show how the campers were seen outside their disabilities, the film, which features the music and spirit of the era, brings an overlooked battle for civil rights to the forefront of pop culture.

WOODY AND BUZZ
[Full Frontal now features more wood](
Wednesday at 10:30/9:30c on TBS
After a two-week hiatus, Full Frontal With Samantha Bee returns this week, though it is now being filmed from the woods near Bee’s home in New York, where she has been social distancing with her family and filming her digital series Beeing at Home with Samantha Bee. Although the show might look a bit different given the changes in production, Bee’s return to the late-night scene will hopefully bring a sense of normalcy to these abnormal times, even if it means her children may or may not be failing all their classes [since she’s not exactly helping them with math and science](.
PANDEMONIUM
[Pandemic: COVID-19 attempts to provide some answers](
Wednesday at 10/9c on Discovery and Science Channel
If you’re like us, you’ve been reading and watching everything related to COVID-19 that you can get your hands on, and that includes a rash of news specials devoted to the virus. The latest one comes from the Science Channel and features experts discussing treatment and transmission, how the government is (or is not?) coordinating the testing and treatment of patients, and why the world was unprepared for this virus. Tracing the origin of the outbreak in the U.S. and its spread throughout the country, the special features first-hand accounts and interviews with experts in medicine and academia, as well as government officials.
AWKWAFINALE
[Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens is moving on up](
Season 1 finale Wednesday at 10:30/9:30c on Comedy Central
My how time flies! The first season finale of Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens is already here (the show has already been renewed for Season 2, thank god). In the finale, Nora moves out and all the way to China (!!!) after Scrubr is acquired by a company overseas. And while that presents a whole slew of new challenges for her, back in Queens, Grandma befriends *squints* an injured pigeon. Yes, that’s definitely what it says.
