A familiar face returns to the Windy City in a Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. crossover, truTV gets personal about women being funny, and a new documentary attempts to figure out the mysteries of sleep. Hello! I know it’s still only February, but man, it feels like it should be at least May already. Do you even remember New Year’s at this point? I know I don’t. But here’s what I do remember: There have been a lot of great new shows already this year. There have been so many, in fact, that [we’ve started compiling a list]( so you don’t miss any of them. If you’re ahead of the curve and have already watched them all, here are tonight’s picks. – [Kaitlin]( [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!]( WATCH THIS NOW [Woman Reading]( [Chicago welcomes back a familiar face for a compelling crossover]( Wednesday at 9/8c on NBC The big reason to watch this week's Chicago Fire/Chicago P.D. crossover (none for you, Chicago Med) is [the return of Brian Geraghty's Sean Roman]( who left town four years ago after an on-the-job injury forced him into early retirement. A bit more mellow than he was when he first departed for San Diego, Roman finds himself back in the Windy City not for a friendly catch-up but unfortunate circumstances relating to the opioid crisis. And because of Roman’s personal connection to the case, he'll turn to Severide (Taylor Kinney) for help rather than anyone at Intelligence. [SHOP NOW]( PRETTY OKAY, ACTUALLY [I Am Not Okay With This is not a Stranger Things knockoff]( Season 1 now on Netflix Netflix's newest series about the horrors of growing up, I Am Not Okay With This, is hardly doing anything that hasn't been done before. But with a refreshing setting outside of Pittsburgh (I said what I said) and a really short running time – Season 1 is just seven half-hour episodes – the dramedy about a teenager (It's Sophia Lillis) trying to navigate the complexities of high school, her budding sexuality, and a newfound supernatural ability, [is a great way to pass the time](. The fact that the show also has a cool soundtrack is just an added bonus. SHE DOESN’T EVEN PLAY A DOCTOR ON TV [It’s Personal With Amy Hoggart will cure what ails you (maybe)]( Series premiere Wednesday at 10/9c on truTV truTV’s comedy lineup, which is already home to gems like I’m Sorry and Tacoma FD, gets a boost with the addition of new docu-comedy It’s Personal with Amy Hoggart. The show finds the comedian and Full Frontal With Samantha Bee correspondent attempting, out of the goodness of her heart, to untangle the everyday personal issues of real people, like shame, anxiety, or the extremely relatable problem of not feeling sexy enough to live in Miami. Tonight’s premiere finds Amy, who is unlicensed but “really nice,” attempting to help one woman locate her sense of humor. If Amy wants to help me solve my lingering resentment of Steph Curry in Season 2, that’d be great. FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS [You better not be too tired to watch Mysteries of Sleep]( Wednesday at 9/8c on PBS A third of Nova's newest documentary Mysteries of Sleep is honestly just footage of people pretending to be asleep (how do I get that job?), but the doc is totally worth watching for its in-depth look at what happens to our minds and bodies while we’re asleep, and why sleeping is actually a biological necessity and not just animals’ favorite pastime. So, if you’ve ever wondered what actually happens when we dream, why some of us suffer from restless nights while others conk out as soon as they hit the pillow, or if you’re just looking for evidence that will support your argument for a midday nap policy at work, be sure to check it out.
