Crisis on Infinite Earths continues with a first-timer dropping by, two coaching greats discuss dominating their peers, and a dreamy Netflix film will leave you one-hand clapping.
Hello!
H_ _RAY! We’d like to buy a vowel… an ‘O,’ and [congratulate Vanna White for her first full episode as host of Wheel of Fortune](. She was asked to fill in for Pat Sajak while he was sidelined due to a medical emergency, and she’ll be the featured host for the next three weeks (Minnie Mouse served in White’s role). White performed swimmingly in Monday’s episode, even [finding time to make fun of herself when she made a few minor flubs]( “Oh no, I’m looking at the wrong arrow. How do you do this show?” It’s not the first time White has filled in for Sajak; in 1996, she was called on to finish hosting the show when Sajak had laryngitis, but it’s the first time she’s served as the sole host in her 37 years as the glamorous letter-turner. I’m not sure why this news makes me so happy, but it does. Here are tonight’s TV picks. –Tim

[The Flash](
[The Flash wraps up “Crisis on Infinite Earths” for 2019](
Part 3 premieres Tuesday at 8/9c on The CW
The CW’s massive, five-episode Arrowverse “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover is so big, it can’t all be contained to one year. Episode 3 airs tonight as an episode of The Flash, and it’s the last chapter of “Crisis on Infinite Earths” in 2019 — it picks up again in mid-January. It’s also the first time The CW’s lone superhero holdout joins the party, as Cress Williams brings Black Lightning to Barry Allen’s aid. Add in an appearance by John Wesley Shipp, who played The Flash in CBS’s 1990 series, and it’s looking like another hour full of super surprises.

[Michelle Wolf: Joke Show](
[Michelle Wolf: Joke Show is a show with lots of jokes](
Now on Netflix
Comedian Michelle Wolf used to have a show on Netflix called The Break with Michelle Wolf. It was canceled. But to show no hard feelings, Netflix is airing Wolf’s newest stand-up special, an hour of risque, perverse, and hilarious jokes delivered in Wolf’s trademark howl at a relentless pace. Wolf’s humor certainly isn’t for everyone — she upset a lot of Republicans when she hosted the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2018 — but if the idea of listening to Wolf talk about what the world would be like if men had periods instead of women sounds good (and it is good), then get ready to be grossed out and love it the entire time.

[Belichick & Saban: The Art of Coaching](
[Grab a hoodie for Belichick & Saban: The Art of Coaching](
Tuesday at 9/8c on HBO
I can’t stand the Alabama Crimson Tide or the New England Patriots, but there’s no denying that they’re dominant in college and pro football, respectively. A lot of that comes from the tutelage of their future Hall of Fame coaches, Alabama’s Nick Saban and New England’s Bill Belichick. The two have been good friends for decades, and the similarities go far beyond their success on the field; they talk the same, they kind of look the same, they coach the same. They’re practically long-lost brothers, or maybe robots from the same production line, as their single-minded pursuit of success dictates their vanilla personalities (though The Art of Coaching tries to show them in different lights). Truthfully, this NFL Films special is targeted at the teams’ loyal fan base and bandwagoners, who will lap up every word their hoodie-clad messiahs spit out. The coaches’ many jealous haters will likely throw their TVs in anger after a few minutes.

[I Lost My Body](
[I Lost My Body is a hand-y film about destiny](
Now on Netflix
This dreamy animated French film is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. That is, unless you’ve seen a lot of movies involving a severed hand trying to reunite with its body. The film, an award-winner at Cannes, is split between two parallel journeys: a pizza delivery boy nervously wooing a young woman whose delivery he botched, and the boy’s hand as it crawls across the streets of Paris searching for its body, fighting rats and other obstacles along the way. There’s an inherent weirdness to I Lost My Body, sure, but it has a lot to say about fate and destiny, as well as taking control of your own life. The English-language version features voice acting from Dev Patel and Alia Shawkat.
