The series finale of a canceled comedy, Season 2 of a visually striking period drama, and a new season of an old show in a surprising place are your alternatives if you don’t want to watch basketball. Hello! No disrespect to other sports leagues, but the NBA is the best. There are so many dramatic narratives and possibilities going into Game 6 of the Finals. Will the [Toronto Raptors]( do what they were unable to do in Game 5 and triumph over the [Golden State Warriors]( Or will the Warriors win again and try to make an improbable 3-1 comeback happen in Game 7? If the Raptors win their first title in franchise history, will that be the end of the Warriors’ dynasty? What will become of [Kevin Durant]( who tore his Achilles tendon in Game 5? So many questions! Some of them will be answered tonight at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on ABC. If you’re not a sports fan, here are tonight’s TV picks. -Liam Mathews [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!]( WATCH THIS NOW [A.P. Bio gets expelled]( Two-part series finale starts Thursday at 8:30/7:30c on NBC The sitcom A.P. Bio never quite caught on and was canceled last month while Season 2 was still airing. NBC has been burning off episodes, and the last two air tonight. A.P. Bio isn’t really a tragic loss, as it never rose above “pretty good,” but “pretty good” is pretty good for a broadcast comedy in 2019. [Glenn Howerton]( was funny as a high school science teacher who thought he was too good for the job, and he anchored a deep bench of supporting players. All the kids were capable of getting a laugh, and we have a feeling we’ll be seeing them pop up on our TVs for years to come. The last episode of also-canceled [Abby’s]( airs tonight, too, but we don’t recommend that one. Blood Science Sex Magick [Strange Angel rockets back to your screen]( Season 2 premiere now streaming on CBS All Access Strange Angel -- or as we like to call it, Strangel -- tells the stranger-than-fiction true story of Jack Parsons, a brilliant rocket scientist/sex cult leader. Season 2 will find Parsons ([Jack Reynor]( and his team working on rockets and making big money as a military contractor as America ramps up its involvement in WWII. Meanwhile, he and his wife, Susan ([Bella Heathcote]( deepen their involvement in the occult religion Thelema, inviting adherents to live in their Pasadena mansion and getting personally involved with founder Aleister Crowley ([Angus Macfadyen]( aka “the wickedest man in the world.” Sounds like a hoot! Season 2 will consist of seven episodes, rolling out on Thursdays. ARE YOU JINN, OR ARE YOU OUT? [Jinn grants your wishes for a Middle Eastern supernatural teen drama]( Season 1 now on Netflix The absolute best reason to get 'scribed to Netflix is the global staycation you can take thanks to the wealth of international programming the streamer provides. Jinn is the first Arabic Netflix original, a supernatural teen drama (yes!) involving native spirit folklore, romantic high school entanglements, and the occasional murder. Filmed entirely in Jordan and promoted as an authentic look at teen life in the Middle East, it's a window into a world we Westerners don't get to see. It unfortunately feels like a first-time project with choppy editing, wayward storytelling, and questionable acting (which isn't helped by the poor English dub), but the real reason to tune in is to get a peek at daily life in the region. Turns out teens in the Middle East also love to suck face and make poor decisions! And at just six episodes that hover around the 30-minute mark, it's an easy commitment. -Tim Surette Fake News, Real World [The Real World is on Facebook now]( Season 33 premiere now streaming on Facebook Watch OK, so here’s the deal: The Real World -- the pioneering MTV reality show -- is back, but it’s not on MTV. It’s on [Facebook Watch]( the social network’s confusing streaming service that I was unable to even find on Facebook before I deleted the app from my phone. MTV has been doing this for a while now, bringing back new versions of old shows on social media. They did a version of [Cribs]( on Snapchat. Anyway, this is the 33rd season of The Real World, it’s set in Atlanta, and it follows what happens when seven strangers move into a house together and stop being polite and start being real.
