Classic comedies All in the Family and The Jeffersons get live reenactments, Chicago P.D. loses an original cast member, a hardcore singer explores hardcore pro wrestling, and History has the meats. Hello! Man, we can’t get over [Cote de Pablo]( [returning]( to [NCIS]( in the Season 16 finale. We didn’t think that was ever going to happen, and we can’t believe it happened the way it did. The level of secrecy that went into protecting that twist was [Game of Thrones](. Hell, it’s higher than Game of Thrones-level, since the NCIS surprise didn’t leak. She’ll be back as Ziva in the Season 17 premiere in the fall, and we’re jazzed for that. But that’s months away. In the meantime, here are tonight’s TV picks. - [Liam Mathews]( [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!]( WATCH THIS NOW [All in the Family and The Jeffersons, live for one night only]( Special airs Wednesday at 8/7c on ABC Legendary TV producer [Norman Lear]( is 97, but his shows remain relevant, which is why ABC is doing a live recreation of two episodes of two of his most iconic shows, [All in the Family]( and [The Jeffersons](. The special has a powerful cast, with [Woody Harrelson]( and [Marisa Tomei]( as Archie and Edith Bunker and [Jamie Foxx]( and [Wanda Sykes]( as George and Louise Jefferson, along with [Will Ferrell]( [Kerry Washington]( [Ellie Kemper]( [One Day at a Time]( [Justina Machado]( and [Stephen Tobolowksky]( and host [Jimmy Kimmel](. It’ll be really interesting to hear how stuff that was progressive in the ‘70s sounds to 2019 audiences. You’ll have to tune in to see what episodes they’re doing! So long, Seda [Chicago P.D. says farewell to a day one]( Season 6 finale airs Wednesday at 10/9c on NBC Chicago P.D.’s Season 6 finale is [Jon Seda]( final episode as Det. Antonio Dawson, a role he’s played since the series’ premiere. The episode is titled “Reckoning,” and Dawson is ready to confess to murdering a suspect earlier in the season, so his fate seems clear: six months of desk duty! No, Chicago P.D. is fiction, so he’ll face some consequences. It’ll be an intense farewell to a P.D. OG. And he’s not the only One Chicago regular exiting tonight; Connor ([Colin Donnell]( and Ava ([Norma Kuhling]( are leaving [Chicago Med](. [We have some theories]( about how it all might go down. IT’S REAL TO US [The Wrestlers goes deep into a dangerous sport]( Series premieres Wednesday at 10/9c on Viceland Following the intriguing run of the wrestling docuseries [Dark Side of the Ring]( Viceland stays on the mat with another wrestling series, this time exploring the lesser-known fringes of men and women tossing each other about the ring. Tonight’s episode looks at the up-and-coming faces of wrestling in America through the eyes of superstar wrestling promoter Gabe Sapolsky, while future episodes head to Japan to see the exploding female wrestling scene, visit Mexico to see how Trump’s pressure on the U.S.-Mexico border is affecting Lucha Libre wrestling, and look at the dangerous Deathmatch style of wrestling, in which wrestlers fight among barbed wire and broken glass. It’s surprisingly educational as it dispels many myths of wrestling. Plus, you get to hear an amateur wrestler say, “Do you think I may be internally bleeding?” Taking you on the journey as host is the frontman for Canadian hardcore group F*cked Up, Damian Abraham, who says, “This is why we need community centers and art spaces in suburbia” when one wrestler is pepper sprayed after losing a bet. This is peak Viceland. - Tim Surette VEGANS, We Dare You to WATCH THIS [Sink your teeth into The Butcher]( Series premieres Wednesday at 10/9c on History Do you enjoy seeing animal corpses being chopped into small pieces? Well do we have a show for you. The most niche of reality competition shows is The Butcher, in which real meat-makers hack carcasses in competition against each other to see who can put together the cleanest cuts. It’s like [Chopped]( except instead of cooking up a meal out of a basket of mystery goodies, the competitors cut Boston butt from a dead pig. This isn’t for the squeamish. Television is weird now, you guys. - Tim Surette [Unsubscribe]( | [View online]( ©2019 CBS Interactive | All Rights Reserved.
