Canadaâs national treasure belts a few out with James Corden, NBCâs biggest reality show gives its finalists one last shot, and a Filipino action movie is the female-fronted revenge film you need.
Hello!
Everyone’s watch has ended! [Game of Thrones called it a series last night]( with a finale that was simultaneously frustrating, not-too-surprising, and satisfying, continuing the final season’s fast-forward to the finish line. We were frustrated over [who ended up in power]( in Westeros, we weren’t [surprised at who died]( and we were satisfied with the endings for a [couple of]( [characters](. But we had questions! [Where did Drogon go?]( [Why did Drogon let Jon go?]( [What did Emilia Clarke think about Dany’s fate?]( And was that really [another stray liquid receptacle that made it into a pivotal scene?]( We have enough [Game of Thrones finale coverage]( to keep you occupied until the Night’s Watch rebuilds the Wall. If you’d rather just move on with your life, here are tonight’s TV picks:

[Legends of Tomorrow](
[DC’s Legends of Tomorrow sets out to make Jurassic Park for monsters](
Season 4 finale Monday at 8/7c on The CW
The CW’s zaniest (and most entertaining) superhero series closes out its season by having its heroes try something new for a change: Help the world in the present day! But given the relatively unknown status of the show’s heroes in their world — they usually stealth-travel to the past to get their jobs done — they opt to dress up as Supergirl, the Green Arrow, and other better-known superheroes in order to grab the public’s attention. It’s a funny sight gag that encapsulates the show’s humor and self-awareness, but it also has huge implications for Season 5. However, the big reason to tune in tonight is to watch the crew educate regular citizens on the many magical creatures that populate the world... by creating a theme park where they all live. This show is nuts.
WATCH THE ROAD!!!
[Carpool Karaoke](
[Are we still into Carpool Karaoke?](
Monday at 10/9c on CBS
For reasons we don’t totally understand, [James Corden]( Carpool Karaoke segments, in which he drives around town with celebs, singing songs along with the car radio, were massive viral hits when he introduced them on [The Late Late Show with James Corden]( in 2015. Tonight brings the fourth Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special to CBS — the previous three earned Emmy nominations — with highlights of the talk show and past karaoke segments filling most of the hour. The special’s big moment comes from a brand new driving-and-singing segment when the voice of Canada, [Celine Dion]( hops in the car with Corden. There’s a 50/50 shot that Corden and Dion do the Titanic pose on the hood of his Porsche SUV.
SING OR DIE
[The Voice](
[The Voice is down to the final four](
Monday at 8/7c on NBC
If you’d rather watch people sing without the worry of a head-on collision, NBC’s stout and stationary singing competition The Voice belts out its final jams before tomorrow’s finale. Tonight’s contestants survived last week’s controversial eliminations, in which a pair of fan favorites were given the boot to the audience’s surprise, making for another country-heavy final four. With tomorrow’s finale loaded with special guest appearances (hello, T-Swift!), this is the last chance to see the contestants sing for the crown.
REVENGE IS INTERNATIONAL
[Maria](
[Ave Maria!!!](
Now on Netflix
The best thing about action movies is that dialogue doesn’t really matter, which is why foreign films from the genre translate so well to American audiences. (Screams, grunts, and the sound of breaking bones are universal!) This Filipino punch-and-shoot-em-up has a unique bite to it as it follows a former female assassin who is pulled back into the dangerous world of organized crime after leaving to raise a family. Let’s just say things don’t go well for her family after her former boss shows up, and Maria quickly pivots into a revenge film that’ll have you wishing grievous bodily harm on anyone who gets in Maria’s way. Filipino actress [Cristine Reyes]( is a total badass in the lead role, and though Maria isn’t as ultra-ultra-violent as the movies coming out of Indonesia, like the brutal (and awesome) The Night Comes For Us, it’s still pretty graphic. It also has a better story.
