Binge-worthy picks of the weekend include a buddy comedy from Amy Poehler, the finale season of a romantic anthology, and a docuseries about a legendary rap collective. Hello! As we all know, the only thing left to look forward to on [Game of Thrones]( is Drogon burning down King’s Landing. (Let’s be real, at this point it doesn't matter who ends up on the Iron Throne, because no one deserves to rule over the realms, except for maybe me and you.) But don’t worry, there’s tons to binge while you’re counting down the hours till the inferno hits, including Amy Poehler’s directorial debut, Wine Country. If you’re not in the mood for a story about drunk aunties truly living their best lives, there’s also The Society, a hot new YA thriller from Netflix; the final season of Easy, an anthology about love and sex in Chicago; Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, a documentary about the seminal hip-hop group; Season 6 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.; and My Dad Wrote a Porno, an HBO adaptation of the hit British podcast. Here are our streaming picks for the weekend, courtesy of Senior Features Editor [Krutika Mallikarjuna](. [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!]( WATCH THIS NOW [Wine Country is the SNL reunion we’ve been waiting for]( Now on Netflix What can we say about [Wine Country]( other than it’ll make you wanna pop a bottle? [Amy Poehler]( directed this classic buddy comedy road trip romp, except in this case, the buddies are biddies, and they're off on a winery tour to celebrate the 50th birthday of a friend. Filled with [Saturday Night Live]( stars including [Maya Rudolph]( [Rachel Dratch]( and [Tina Fey]( Wine Country is a perfect contemplation on mortality and what it means to feel young, even as you age. May we all have this kind of energy as we crest the hill, ‘cause lord knows none of us will be this funny. Call or group text your girlfriends asap because Wine Country is definitely a delightful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. CALLING ALL HIP-HOP HEADS [Get an intimate look behind the scenes of one of the greatest rap groups of all time in Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men]( Miniseries premieres Friday at 9/8c on Showtime, all episodes now streaming on Showtime’s apps Wu-Tang Clan is undoubtedly one of the greatest hip-hop collectives of all time. Showtime’s new four-part docuseries, [Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men]( takes rap aficionados behind-the-scenes of the making — and repeated breaking — of the iconic group. Mixing interviews with the living members of Wu-Tang with archival footage, the docuseries spins together a family drama, a rags-to-riches story, and thoughtful social commentary to examine the legacy they’re still writing. THE LEFTOVERS, BUT MAKE IT TEENS [The Society is a tense roller coaster]( Now on Netflix [The Society]( is a new YA thriller from Netflix, which has been lauded for its efforts in teen dramas. The Society might not live up to its socially aware compatriots like [Sex Education]( or [On My Block]( but it does have a new twist on a dystopian future to offer. Much like [The Leftovers,]( The Society kicks off with a large percentage of the population disappearing — except instead of the entire world, the teens of one small town are transported to an identical location where there are no adults or children, just teens. At first it's unspoken permission to party as hard as possible, but things quickly turn into a gripping quandary. Can people who are barely reaching adulthood handle all the adult problems that come with running an entire society? The show tackles class, power, and gender extremely well, but much like [The Handmaid's Tale]( seems to be afraid of addressing any race issues. There are weak spots in this show, but overall it's an extremely compelling sci-fi binge that's worth dedicating a weekend to. CONSIDER THIS A RECRUITING CALL [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a back after a surprise renewal]( Season 6 premieres Friday at 8/7c on ABC When [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.]( shot its Season 5 finale, the cast and crew thought it would be a series finale. However, thanks in no small part to the series’ vocal fandom, the show got a last minute Season 6 renewal. The new season kicks off after Coulson’s ([Clark Gregg]( dramatic death with Mack ([Henry Simmons]( in charge of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Daisy ([Chloe Bennet]( off in space looking for a frozen friend. The team may be scattered, but they’re still strong. Oh, and even though Coulson’s dead, expect Clark Gregg to pop up on screen again this season. HANDS UP IF YOU LOVE ANTHOLOGIES) [Easy takes us back to the horniest recesses of Chicago one last time]( Now on Netflix [Easy]( is a breezy anthology series all about various interlinked Chicagoans as they try to find and nurture love. The series can be hit or miss, but like any anthology, there are two or three standouts per season that make binging worth it. And with Season 3 set to be its last, Easy delivers. If you’ve seen previous seasons, then you’ll be happy to know that the plucky Annie ([Kate Miccuci]( from the legendary throuple date episode with [Orlando Bloom]( and [Malin Ackerman]( returns in Season 3’s standout episode. This time around she’s made a pledge to say yes to anyone that asks her on a date, and in a totally unexpected way, it brings her much closer to love than she ever was before. AN INCREDIBLE FAMILY LEGACY [My Dad Wrote a Porno is the only podcast turned show worth watching]( Premieres Saturday at 10/9c on HBO [My Dad Wrote a Porno]( is based on a low-budget podcast hosted by [Jamie Morton]( and his two best friends that went on to become a viral sensation in the UK. The premise is super simple: Jamie reads from the erotica novel his father wrote and the audience does its best to breathe through its laughter. Now it’s getting the HBO treatment and Jamie (plus friends) will read a deleted chapter from his dad’s opus in front of a live audience. It’s exactly the thing you need to unwind after a long week at work. [Unsubscribe]( | [View online]( ©2019 CBS Interactive | All Rights Reserved.
