I'm gonna level with you: I don’t know anything about college basketball, except that my beloved, cursed New York Knicks are trying to lose as many games as possible to improve their chances of drafting fate-altering Duke forward Zion Williamson with No. 1 pick. Notable games on Thursday include No. 15 Montana vs. No. 2 Michigan, No. 9 Baylor vs. No. 8 Syracuse, and No. 3 LSU vs. No. 14 Yale. Zion Williamson and Duke aren’t on until Friday, but there are literally 63 other teams to watch, you know? It’s not all about Zion! It’s a very Hardy episode [Bane arrives on Gotham]( Thursday at 8/7c on Fox [Shane West]( makes his long-awaited first appearance as iconic Batman villain Bane in this episode of [Gotham](. Jim Gordon ([Ben McKenzie]( impaled corrupt soldier Eduardo Dorrance on a pipe a few episodes back, and since then, Dorrance has been recovering/being engineered into a super-soldier under the care of Theresa Walker ([Jaime Murray]( and Hugo Strange ([BD Wong](. And now he’s ready for revenge. Bane (played by [Tom Hardy]( in [The Dark Knight Rises]( always breaks Batman’s back, but since there is no Batman (yet) on Gotham, who will receive the famous spinal injury? After this, there are only two more episodes until the series finale. WATCH THIS NOW [Critters: A New Binge resurrects an old fave]( Now streaming on Shudder [Gremlins]( came first back in the ‘80s, but [Critters]( has [beaten]( the other puppet-based horror/comedy to the streaming series punch. Critters: A New Binge brings back the hungry, hairy little aliens for an eight-episode shortform series (each episode is around eight minutes long) with a cast that includes [Thomas Lennon]( and [Gilbert Gottfried](. It’s very crude and very silly and not what you would call “good,” but the Critters’ practical creature effects are pretty cool and it doesn’t require any brainpower to watch. If you’re in the mood for some cheap jokes and mindless gore, this should do the trick. For fans of another ball-based sport [Antoine Griezmann: The Making of a Legend kicks it up]( Now on Netflix Antoine Griezmann is France’s hero of the 2018 World Cup, winning the tournament’s Bronze Ball (third-best player) and Silver Boot (second-highest goal scorer) and being named man of the match for the final. This documentary tells the story of how he got there, from growing up as a undersized kid in Mâcon to FIFA success at Atlético Madrid to World Cup heroism.
