[If you like stuff that blows up, gets shot at and goes BOOM, there are a couple of options for you; if you like Vanessa Hudgens, there are also a couple of options for you; and an absurd special goes eye-to-eye with an insane presidential nominee.](#) [TV Guide Watch This Now!]( Hello! This weekend is chock full of the best of the best getting together to… not do their very best. The top NFL football players who aren’t in the Super Bowl get together for the Pro Bowl (Sunday, 6 p.m. Eastern/3 p.m. Pacific on ABC, ESPN and, for some reason, Disney XD), sports’ worst all-star affair by a mile, to gently nudge each other until they can continue their free Hawaiian vacation. Later that night, Hollywood’s best actors gather for the [SAG Awards]( (Sunday, 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific on TNT and TBS), which seems like it’s not worth the effort to deal with parking since it’s not the Emmys or Oscars. Your best bet to see the best approach their best is the NHL All-Star Game (Saturday, 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific on NBC), which has broken from other leagues with a [totally unique all-star experience]( that’s a lot of fun. But if you ask us, the very best of the best is in our weekend TV picks below: [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!]( WATCH THIS NOW! [Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt]( [Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt says goodbye with a smile]( Final season is now on Netflix Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt turned out to be very breakable indeed when Netflix snapped its final season in half, the last six episodes of which stream today (the first half aired in May of 2018 due to co-creator [Tina Fey]( schedule). But the break didn’t slow down the show’s optimistically determined heroine, who barrels toward the end with her unique perspective to save the world from itself. Things are zany as usual, including a near hourlong episode that’s an homage to the 1998 film [Sliding Doors]( but if anything’s missing in these final episodes, it’s a substantial visit from [Jon Hamm]( DJ Slizzard. You’re welcome to dive right in to these episodes if you haven’t seen the show before, but we’d advise you start from the beginning. BOOM! [Strike Back]( [Strike Back is gonna blow some stuff up and it will be awesome]( Season 6 premieres Friday at 10/9c on Cinemax You want some action? You want to see some guns rattlin’, some bullet cases flyin’, and some muscles flexin’? Cinemax’s long-running series remains the bar for special ops dramas, and there is a story, we hear, but really, it’s all about blowing sh-- up. [Jamie Bamber]( ([Battlestar Galactica]( Apollo) joins the season as the head of the Section 20 team that is tracking down a missing nuclear payload after a Russian bomber goes down near Kuala Lampur, but again, EXPLOSIONS. BANG! [Polar]( [Polar is about ice-cold killers]( Now on Netflix [Hannibal]( [Mads Mikkelsen]( swaps eating people for just beating people in this Netflix original film based on the graphic novel of the same name. Mads plays an aging killer-for-hire whose employers have a mandatory quitting policy once assassins reach the age of 50, and in his case, they want to fire him by firing many bullets into him. That means a bunch of hitmen — including [Vikings]( [Katheryn Winnick]( — come for him while he’s trying to chillax in a cabin with a new friend (played by [Vanessa Hudgens]( still washing away the Disney image) in this violent thriller. It harkens back to the Tarantino-inspired movies of the late 1990s, and like them, it’s not as good as a Tarantino movie, but it will do the trick for a fun Friday night watch. HARD-HITTING NEWS [Soft Focus With Jena Friedman]( [Soft Focus with Jena Friedman is uncomfortable, hilarious]( Special premieres Friday at midnight on Adult Swim "Sometimes hard issues need a light touch” is the pitch for this subversive special that joyfully veers into “don’t go there!” territory. Comedian [Jena Friedman]( keeps it deadpan while talking to real people about big issues, such as harassment in gaming, turning probing questions into awkward situations that draw out frighteningly honest answers. It’s stunt comedy that only a few people can pull off, but Friedman is a master of the craft whose side glances at the camera show that she’s completely in control even as a must-see interview with fugitive and 2020 presidential hopeful John McAfee dances with threats of violence. This is perfect for fans of the late and great [Nathan For You]( it’s just too bad that we only get one of these a year. (The first special is available on [AdultSwim.com]( WATCH THIS NOW [Rent Live!]( [Rent Live! is happening if you care]( Premieres Sunday at 8/7c on Fox The closest thing broadcast TV has to “must-see” events is the revival of the live musical, which was spearheaded by NBC’s [The Sound of Music Live!]( in 2013. That production, starring Carrie Underwood, blew the lid off ratings expectations with more than 18 million viewers, but subsequent attempts — obviously every network jumped at the chance to put on lavish numbers after that success — have yet to come close to those numbers. Fox hopes that a live production of the Broadway hit Rent with [Vanessa Hudgens]( and [Jordan Fisher]( will change that, but it likely won’t; most of us previously tuned in to see if anything would go wrong, but it turns out these productions are pretty professional and well-rehearsed.
