It's not enough to get my emails and leave them lying around like unpaid bills. You have to read them, too, so I hope that's what you're doing. Ok. Here's the thing: You should already know a lot of what I'm going to tell you, but I'm going to tell you anyway. Never too late to get smart about life in Torn City. Crime has become one of the most popular and most important features in Torn. Become a master criminal and you will be feared and respected in the city. To become good at crimes, you have to do crimes. Start with small jobs, do them over and over again until you are succeeding more often than not, and then move on to the bigger jobs. Don't try to rob a bank before you know how to pick a pocket, or you'll mainly succeed in going to jail. How much Nerve you have available controls what crimes you can attempt. When you complete a crime, your Nerve stat goes down and has to build up again. But as you succeed at crimes your Nerve stat's maximum will go up and up, giving you a shot at even bigger crimes. The secret to getting high enough Nerve to become a master criminal is to get good at the small stuff first, and to build up your Nerve and your crime skills bit by bit. You'll find very soon that mere citizens will be stepping aside to get out of your way. Check out the [crimes section of the Game Guide] to learn more about crimes. If you have any questions, just shoot me an email! Keep up the good work, {NAME}! George P.S. Tomorrow I'll share the secrets of a great Torn City education strategy.
