TONIC. has now separated Terms and Conditions for Publishers and Advertisers – applicable soon! TONIC. has updated its Terms and Conditions [View this email in your browser]( [TONIC. Newsletter]( Hello {NAME}, We updated and re-structured our terms and conditions. Trust and transparency are part of the culture, values and everyday conduct at Team Internet and build the basis of strong and long-lasting customer relationships. Therefore, we want to inform you about the updates we made to our terms and conditions, why we made these updates and what that means for you as our customer. Why did we update our terms and conditions? Until now, we had one combined set of terms and conditions for both Advertisers and Publishers. This sometimes led to some confusion, so we made the decision to separate the terms into two sets. What’s new? Based on our commitment to trust and transparency towards our customers, the new versions of the terms and conditions do not materially change the contractual conditions between our customers and Team Internet and don’t contain any unreasonable new conditions or legal pitfalls. The most important update is that we, as already said, now have specific Terms and Conditions for Publishers and specific [Terms and Conditions for Advertisers](. This separation adds a lot of clarity and transparency to the terms and makes the scope of the terms crystal clear now. In addition, we will also release our new [Quality Guidelines](. As you know, quality and legal compliance of all advertisements and advertising spaces on the TONIC. platform are of crucial importance to us. We therefore decided to summarize our quality and compliance requirements as a commitment in our new [Quality Guidelines]( applicable to both Publishers and Advertisers. And, last but not least, we also updated and simplified our [Data Processing Addendum]( to enhance GDPR compliance and to support our customers with their GDPR compliance. One more thing: We removed the German version of our terms, as we are happy to work with a globally diverse customer base. What happens next? The new terms and conditions will be used for new customers as of today. You as an appreciated existing customer herewith are notified of the new terms in a timely manner before they take effect for you. The new terms will be applicable for existing customers as of July 1st, 2020. You can object to the updated terms within 14 days of receipt of this email. To object, please send an email to compliance@teaminternet.com. Where you don’t object to the new terms within this period of time, the updated terms are deemed to have been accepted. This notification and objection process is stipulated in our current terms and conditions. What about individual contracts? With a few of our customers we have individual contracts, not based on our terms and conditions. Most of these individual contracts come from Team Internet’s childhood days before we even had standard terms and conditions. Such individual contracts are not affected by this update, they will live on as they are. If you should have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at compliance@teaminternet.com.
