YouTube Kids Announces New Features for Parents
[YouTube is rolling out three updates]( intended to give parents more control over what their children view. Updates include: Parent approved content, which lets parents select the channels their kids can watch; Youtube will also start suggesting "trusted channels" deemed safe for children viewing; and the Google-owned company will offer [improved search-off control]( a more contained experience.

LiveXLive has partnered with AEG Presents to add two music festivals to its slate of live music programming â Global Dance Festival and Decadence NYE. Steph Curry is Heading Back to YouTube with a Slate of Original Content
After not posting anything on the Youtube for 4 years, basketball star Steph Curry is picking back up where he left off. The Golden States Warriors team member is relaunching his YouTube channel with a slate of original content starting with â5 Minutes From Home,â which debuts May 1. The series is being co-developed, directed, and produced by digital studio Portal A in collaboration with Curry's recently formed production company, Unanimous Media.
Cinedigm to Launch Women's Lifestyle SVOD Service
Cinedigm & Gatherer Entertainment have partnered to launch the first-ever womenâs (35+) lifestyle subscription service. Expected to launch in Q4 2018 across Cinedigmâs base of more than 535 million consumer devices, The Gatherer Network has distribution plans for web and mobile, including both iOS and Android platforms. Gatherer marks the ninth channel from Cinedigmâs Digital Networks Group.
Jukin Media's Chris Powers Finds Home at GRB Entertainment
Los Angeles-based production company GRB Entertainment has brought on Chris Powers as its new VP of digital development. Powers most recently served as a development executive and head of current programming at Jukin Media, where he developed and produced digital series for Facebook, go90, and Comcast.
Facebook Live Show Wins Emmy for Social Interactivity
Digital lifestyle expert Mario Armstrong has won an Emmy Award for his high-energy, LIVE audience talk show, "[The Never Settle]( Show" in the Best Interactivity category. The first season of the show, which streams using Facebook Live, featured 6 episodes produced weekly and housed on [Entrepreneurâs Facebook Page]( content curated by its social following - live during the broadcast.

NowThis, today, was awarded three top honors by the Webby Awards.
