Sean Atkins appointed CEO of StyleHaul RTL Group today announced the appointment of Sean Atkins as new CEO of StyleHaul, effective from 10 September 2018. Sean Atkins will work closely with Melanie Kirk – CFO of StyleHaul, who has also served as interim CEO since 1 July 2018 – and the senior management team of StyleHaul. In the course of 2019, Sean Atkins will also become CEO of what will be a newly formed group of MPNs, combining StyleHaul, Divimove and United Screens. Twitter Hires former Refinery29 Exec as Head of Client Solutions Former COO of Refinery29 Sarah Personette is joining Twitter as global head of client solutions. Personette will start in mid-October and will be based in New York City where she will report to Twitter’s head of customers, Matt Derella, who previously was also global head of Twitter client solutions. Prior to Refinery29, Personette worked as a marketing exec at Facebook. Snapchat Welcomes New Channel From WorldStarHipHop, Studio71 WorldStarHipHop is partnering with Studio71 to launch a new channel on Snapchat. The two will produce a regular stream of news and original content on the platform. Starting today, the two will release 5-15 pieces of content each weekday at 6 a.m. ET on in Snapchat’s Discover. The content featured on the channel will include hip-hop news, memes, viral videos, and interactive formats. India's Eros and China's iQiYi Ink Content Deal Eros International, a Bollywood distributor, has struck a content-licensing deal in China with streaming giant iQIYI, according to a report from Variety. Eros described the deal as a content-licensing pact for Eros Now, its own streaming video platform. “Eros Now becomes the first South Asian OTT player to make inroads into the Chinese digital space,” the company said in a statement.
