Snapchat's VP of Product Tom Conrad Set to Exit the Company Snap’s VP of Product Tom Conrad is exiting the company come this March. Jacob Andreou, Snap’s director of growth, will take over the executive's duties according to a report from Techcrunch. Conrad joined Snap as Snapchat’s VP of product in March of 2016. YouTube Is Spending $5 Million to Bring Positive Videos to its platform YouTube is investing $5 million in creators who use the service in “positive ways.” YouTube said the program has partnered with 39 creators worldwide since its 2016 launch, who have focused on releasing videos to promote empathy and understanding. The $5 million investment will come in the form of “production and marketing support,” including several production grants, according to the Google-owned company. CityLights Acquires VR Series as Part of a Seven Figure Deal Virtual reality financing and distribution venture CityLights has inked a "low- to mid-seven-figure deal" for Darren Aronofsky's Protozoa's three-part VR series, "Spheres." The first episode of the immersive series, narrated by Jessica Chastain, debuted last weekend in the New Frontier section of the Sundance Film Festival. Logan Paul to Donate $1 Million to Suicide Prevention After posting a video on Youtube of a suicide victim late last year, which caused an uproar among the public, famous Youtuber Logan Paul pledged to take a temporary step back from the spotlight. Today, the Youtuber is peaking his head back into the limelight to announce that he will be donating $1 million dollars to "various suicide prevention organizations.” Paul made the announcement in a [video post]( on his Youtube account.
