GM Mexico says the new Fleet Complete developed software âis designed to provide fleet managers with useful and relevant data on the use of their vehicles in real time.â The service, available exclusively for vehicles from GMâs Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac brands, will allow fleet companies to track and manage fleets remotely using a computer, tablet or another connected device.  The new vehicle scrappage policy, announced by the Centre on Monday, will help reduce pollution by removing old vehicles and will help turnaround the fortunes of struggling automotive industry by boosting sales, said senior executives at automobile manufacturing companies and their component making firms.
According to the new policy, commercial vehicles of more than fifteen years and passenger vehicles of more than twenty years will have to be mandatorily scrapped if they donât pass fitness and emission tests. Also, customers who voluntarily scrap their vehicles will get a 15-25% rebate on road tax and complete waiver of registration fees on the next new vehicle purchase. Automobile manufacturers will also have to offer a discount of 5% against a certificate of vehicle scrapping.
âThe guidelines will prove to be a boon in the long run, exciting the customers to newer and efficient vehicles and in turn help India elevate to becoming the hub of automobile manufacturing, corroborating the coveted âMake in Indiaâ initiative. We strongly believe this policy will kick start the revival of the Indian auto sector and the overall economy â said Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO & Managing Director, Renault India.  [Read Full Article](   [Why Itâs Time To Revive The Dodge Neon]( Stellantis has the perfect European car to tweak for the US market.

Those rumors have since been quashed, which makes the reveal of the new Peugeot 308 all the more painful. Like most Peugeot hatchbacks, the 308 looks extremely handsome. Too bad American consumers treat handsome hatchbacks like poison.
The 308 acts as the new âface of Peugeot,â wearing the snazzy new company badge. Though there is absolutely no chance of the 308 coming to America wearing the lion logo, weâd like to hold out hope of a future Stellantis product using a small portion of Peugeotâs fabulous design and engineering.
We have several ideas for how Stelantis could bring the 308 stateside in some capacity. FCAâs American brands have been craving a fuel-efficient entry-level product since the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200 went out of production several years ago. Weâd love to see Dodge pull the Neon nameplate out of retirement to slap on a rebadged 308. For this strategy to succeed, Dodge would likely need to put in some engineering work to turn the 308 into a sedan; because, as we mentioned, American buyers hate hatchbacks.  [Read Full Article](  Connect with the automobile news on social media platforms [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Linkedin]( You received this email because you operate or create content for a website/service and based on your website it seemed like this could be important information to you and your users.
