Read this in 1 min, 17 sec Picture this: It's 7AM in the morning. Everyone’s asleep. No cars driving on the streets. Just... quiet. That was me last Saturday morning. Over the weekend, I visited Philadelphia for the first time. I saw old friends. I enjoyed amazing dinners It was a FULL weekend. BUT – I still made time for deep work. Even while traveling... Even on the weekend! How? Because I followed my simple 2 hour rule. And today I want to share that with you. (feel free to steal this) [Barkbox Incentive + Expiration Date] ^^ 7am in Philly (my walk to the coffee shop) Alright... the 2 hour rule is simple: 2 hours of deep work. Every day. No matter what. ^^ that's it. I like to knock these 2 hours out in the early morning. Because there are 10x less distractions at that time. This is when the rest of the world is either asleep, too lazy, or too hungover to get up. You’re less likely to get texts, emails or get sucked into Twitter. Saturday morning: I got up around 7AM. I googled “coffee shop near me”. Put on a shirt from last night. And walked out the door with my laptop in hand. The coffee shop was empty. I love building being there all by myself. I’m focused. No one is bothering me. I love it!! I ordered my usual drink (on the company card), popped on my headphones, and got to work. 2 hours goes by like that! I finished the MOST important work for my business. I moved the needle. I got shit done! And then I enjoyed the rest of the day, guilt free and without a worry in the world. I spent the rest of the day touring Philly and hanging out with friends. [Barkbox Incentive + Expiration Date] I WISH more people took deep work seriously. It is the easiest thing you can do to grow your business WHILE having less stress. You don’t need 8 hours per day You don’t need to pull an all-nighter You don’t need to grind 24/7 All you need is 2 extremely focused hours of work to build a million dollar business. So [tomorrow I’m hosting a free workshop]( to show you how I integrate the 2 hour rule into your life and exactly what I work on during those 2 hours. You’ll see my step-by-step process for how I built a $1M business on just 2 hours a day!
