^^ me 5 mins after I woke up today Read time: 1 min, 20 sec This morning I woke up, grabbed my phone, and opened Twitter. And the first tweet I saw... ruined my day. There’s this guy I follow named Nick. He's got it all put together. $10M/year business. Works 4 hours a week. Travels the world. He's making a lot more money than me. All while working 10% of the hours I do. And, this... ruined my entire day. It got me feeling like dogsh*t. I know, I know... comparison is the thief of joy yada yada. But I couldn't stop getting down on myself: Why can't I be smart and calculated like this guy? Why am I not more successful by my age? Why do I have to work so much harder than the next guy? My Twitter feed is full of these stories. Screenshots of Stripe accounts, viral tweets, amazing business ideas. All while working 4 hours a week from a Bali beach. Meanwhile, I'm out here in Florida working my t*ts off, just trying to keep my head above water. Over 200,000 people read this newsletter. Maybe a few of you think I have it "all figured out". Well, I'll let you in on a little secret. Every day, I feel like a fraud, an imposter. Every day, at some point, I ask myself: What the hell am I doing? Most days I'm shooting from the hip. Just figuring it out as I go. For every good idea I have, I have 99 really, really bad ones. But.. somehow I still built a successful business that's changed my life? That just blows my mind... I realize that we're all making it up as we go. I realize... you can f*ck up nearly everything, and still be successful! I’ve studied thousands of businesses at this point and they all have one thing in common: They didn’t know what they were doing in the beginning. And they still don't know what they're doing today. But... they kept showing up. Making a little bit of progress every day. The only difference between success and failure is that you don't quit. Maybe you feel like an imposter, too? Like me? Or maybe you are on the fence about if you're really cut out for this? Well... I something perfect for you: [Join my free workshop this Thursday]( I'll take you behind the scenes on how I built a $1M business despite all of my doubts and insecurities. And I'll show you exactly how you can face your fears and start building something that changes your life. And how you don't have to have anything figured out.
