Real, uncut reviews of Skillcrush Blueprints. Hi there, When our most recent batch of students finished their Blueprint, I sent them a quick note to ask if they’d share comments on their Skillcrush experience, good or bad, on an independent review site called [Course Report]. Asking for the reviews was a little scary...what if they weren't positive? I've put all the love, sweat, and yes, tears, that I've had to give into creating the Skillcrush Blueprints. They're not perfect, but our entire team has worked tirelessly to create the best experience possible and we never stop thinking about what we can do to better serve our students. Well, over 100 reviews have come in. Want to read what they said? [Here's a direct link to Course Report to read the reviews.] The feedback that some of the students shared...there are no words. Chelli shared: Truly Life Changing! I'm only about 1 month in to my course and I was already able to get a job of my DREAMS working REMOTELY! The Skillcrush resources REALLY helped me chase this opportunity. The new tech skills I’m learning made me a much more competitive candidate & I felt so much more prepared for my interviews after checking out the career resources. I can tell that tech skills really set my application apart by a long shot. I appreciate that Skillcrush has so much info that will GENUINELY help you towards your dream career, whatever that may be. Thanks Skillcrush :-) [Read her full review here.] And Ed said: Skillcrush rocks!! Very well structured, paced, presented, and taught. Fantastic support from the Skillcrush team as you work through each step. I like the fact that they bring the student community together too. There is a lot of assistance and information provided in addition to learning to code in the form of career guidance, webinars, Master Classes, etc. They have thought of pretty much everything...! Overall, a tremendous value!!! I highly recommend that if you really want to learn - come on over and have some fun!!!! [Read his full review here.] And Marina, who shared: After about a month of bookmarking almost every Skillcrush blog post and starring their daily newsletters (I'm not one to do this lightly), I finally gave in and signed up. It's been six weeks since I started and I already have my first client. I've also built a somewhat complex WordPress site, created freelance packages, started using Github, got over my fear of the command prompt, and am gearing up to make a responsive portfolio site from scratch. I couldn't be happier with Skillcrush. I had been considering applying to another full-time Bay Area bootcamp, but since I'm not in a position to quit my day job, and too hesitant to take out a hefty student loan, Skillcrush turned out to be the perfect thing. Thank you, Adda, for creating it! [Read her full review here.] Of course, they weren't ALL 100% positive, and you know what? I am so glad! No matter how good you think something is, there is always room for improvement. Honestly, I love student complaints because they alert our team to exactly where the problem areas are and help us prioritize our improvements. Thanks to feedback from students, over the last few months we've made a bunch of updates, including: - Overhauling our signature Skillcrush 101: HTML & CSS class, including all new videos, challenges, and portfolio projects - Revising our Skillcrush 105: Git, Github & the Command Line to break out lessons for Mac and PC computers, so everyone gets lessons that are tailored to their unique computer set up, and - Launching a new community platform that makes it easier for students to connect with their instructors & fellow students Plus we've got a few in the pipeline including even better ways for us to give you feedback on your work ;) I am so proud that Skillcrush classes have helped our students to land better, higher-paying jobs, or fashion a work-life situation that works for them. Knowing that the curriculums we spend hundreds of hours creating are enabling our students to work freelance jobs, make more money, do work they love, and begin remote jobs makes all the late nights worth it, and gives me faith that our team is meeting our mission. Our next session of [Skillcrush Blueprints] starts tomorrow. It would be such an honor to have you in class. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful, inspiring community. xoxo, Adda © Skillcrush 115 West 18th Street, Floor 2 New York, NY 10011 USA [manage your email preferences] [unsubscribe]
