>> Welcome to the new democratic party… On Saturday, a Black Lives Matter mob led by a Democrat

[header] AUGUST 19, 2020 [leading] U.S. government debt prices were higher Wednesday morning as investors awaited the release of the latest Federal Reserve minutes, while monitoring developments on a new coronavirus relief bill in Washington. At around 1:50 a.m. ET, the yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note was lower at 0.6590% and the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was down at 1.3788%. Yields move inversely to prices. The second coronavirus stimulus bill remains high on the agenda, with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Tuesday criticizing Democratic counterparts for what he characterized as unwillingness to discuss a smaller agreement. However, Politico reported that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has voiced the possibility of cutting some demands to secure a deal. Tensions between the U.S. and China have continued to escalate in recent days, and President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he had canceled further impending trade talks with Beijing over its response to the coronavirus pandemic, which has now infected more than 5.4 million Americans. The S&P 500 notched an all-time high Tuesday, recovering from a deep downturn to surpass the levels seen before the Covid-19 crisis, even as 1,000 people continue to die in the U.S. every day from the virus. The Federal Open Market Committee’s last meeting minutes will be released at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, offering an insight into the central bank’s deliberating process as it looks to shore up the economy in the wake of the pandemic. They shouted into microphones and beat piñatas designed to look like Kroll and Collins. John Thompson, who recently won the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party primary for State House District 67A, appears to have led the mob, along with CAIR and civil rights lawyer Nekima Levy Armstrong. “I’m a black man being terrorized,” Thompson declares in a video captured by Alpha News. “Don’t run now, don’t run now, racist white people, I’m here.” He condemned the “Blue Lives Matter” slogan, saying, “Blue lives ain’t s**t.” Then the candidate condemned the city of Hugo, Minnesota, because Kroll and Collins live there. He told a man holding a “Blue Lives Matter” sign to “take that sign” and “stick it in your a**,” Alpha News reported. “These cowards in these blue uniforms, they can take that s**t off and go back to being regular people, shopping in our stores, making money off of our g*dd**n tax dollars,” Thompson added. “I’m glad y’all are making them uncomfortable here in Hugo, Minnesota.” The videos show a group of teenage girls terrified by the massive crowd. President Trump on Tuesday hit back at former first lady Michelle Obama, saying he wouldn’t have been elected “if it weren’t for the job done” by her husband, former President Barack Obama. Trump’s tweets come after the former first lady slammed the president and his administration during the first night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention, saying that his White House operates in "chaos” and without “empathy," while urging voters to cast their ballots for Joe Biden like their lives depend on it. "Somebody please explain to @MichelleObama that Donald J. Trump would not be here, in the beautiful White House, if it weren’t for the job done by your husband, Barack Obama," Trump tweeted early Tuesday. He added: “Biden was merely an afterthought, a good reason for the very late & unenthusiastic endorsement.” The president went on to tout his administration for building "the greatest economy in history, of any country, turned it off, saved millions of lives, and now am building an even greater economy than it was before.” “Jobs are flowing, NASDAQ is already at a record high, the rest to follow,” he said. “Sit back and watch!” The president, defending his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, then slammed the Obama-Biden administration for their “response” to the H1N1 Swine Flu, which he said was considered “weak and pathetic.” “Check out the polling, it’s really bad,” he tweeted. “The big difference is that they got a free pass from the Corrupt Fake News Media!” [More Here]( [Awesome](mailto:contact@salliratrader.com?subject=Awesome&body=Send%20me more 🙂) [Not so good](mailto:contact@salliratrader.com?subject=Not so good&body=You can do better 🙂) [crazy] North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has reportedly ordered the confiscation of pet dogs in the country’s capital city of Pyongyang. Kim allegedly claims the owning of dogs is part of Western “decadence,” but owners reportedly fear their dogs are going to be killed for food as the country continues to suffer. The confiscation was reported by the English-language version of the South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo. The outlet reported a source told said Kim issued the ban on owning pets in July, claiming it was “a ‘tainted’ trend by bourgeois ideology.” “Authorities have identified households with pet dogs and are forcing them to give them up or forcefully confiscating them and putting them down,” the source told the outlet. “Ordinary people raise pigs and livestock on their porches, but high-ranking officials and the wealthy own pet dogs, which stoked some resentment,” the source added. The source went on to tell the outlet that at least some of the dogs are given to state-run zoos while others are sold to restaurants that serve dog meat. The source added that pet owners are “cursing Kim Jong-un behind his back,” but there isn’t anything they can do about the situation. Euphemistically known as “dangogi,” or sweet meat, dog has long been believed to be a stamina food in North and South Korea and is traditionally eaten during the hottest time of the year, giving a sad twist to the old saying “dog days of summer.” Poor Fido!
