We can win in North Carolina

{NAME}, I wanted to make sure you saw some big news today: the North Carolina Senate race is starting to take shape. Today, my friend Cheri Beasley’s primary opponent dropped out – leaving her with a clear path to win the Democratic nomination. This is a race we can win. You saw how close it was last year. With Richard Burr retiring, the race is wide open — especially since the Republicans are in a race to the bottom to see how extreme they can get. Cheri came within a few hundred votes of being elected Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court in 2020. She actually outperformed Joe Biden. And she has a chance to make history as the first Black woman ever to win a Senate seat from North Carolina. Cheri can win, but she needs our help.
