{NAME}, I recently asked for your feedback — where you thought you and I could do the most good together in helping protect voting rights and defend our democracy. Many of you sent suggestions for good candidates to support. Many of you also suggested candidates to oppose — Republicans in office right now, who, if we want to really make a difference, we have to defeat. One name that came up regularly is Devin Nunes, who’s one of Trump’s chosen mouthpieces in the House. The good news? Devin Nunes just announced his “retirement” to go run Trump’s media company. His now former district is competitive and trending even better for Democrats. This is clearly a chance for Democrats to win back some ground and replace one of the members of Congress who voted against Biden’s certification and have tried to obstruct him at every turn with someone who cares about making democracy work for the people. Whoever wins this seat is going to have to dive right into the fight to protect voting rights. That’s where we can come in and help. If we want someone who’s ready to count every vote, fight voter suppression, we need to stand up and make our voices heard. As the race shakes out more, we’ll have more ways to get involved but for now I want to know if you’re ready to help. [Will you join me and add your name?
