What's new: annotations, free abdo CT comic and featured cases [View this email in your browser]( New Annotation Feature Finally Here! The ability to annotate cases has been one of the most requested features for some time, and we have been working on it. When adding functionality you can either bash something together quickly, or you can take a few steps back and see what else can be improved. We took a few steps back. And then a few more. In fact we went all the way back to rebuilding our case viewer. The new viewer is faster to load, cleaner to look at and allows authors to add annotations. These appear as orange text in the case findings and when you click them the viewer will jump to the correct series and slice and label the finding for you. It's magic! Check out [this example]( Many of our the recent case publications on the site feature annotations so keep an eye out for them and let us know what you think. We are now in the process of building an all new full-screen viewer (for presentation mode and playlists) to all take advantage of these new features. At this stage we don't quite know when it will be ready. Hopefully before the end of the year. If you haven't had a go at creating your own case, it is easy and our "Case Creation Learning Pathway" will get you going in no time at all. [CASE CREATION LEARNING PATHWAY]( New Free Abdominal CT Course! The latest release in Stefan Tigges' acclaimed series of comic book style radiology courses has arrived. This time Stefan has collaborated with Radiopaedia Editor and abdominal radiologist Michael Hartung. The course features over 400 panels, related Radiopaedia playlists, articles and multiple choice questions! And did we mention it is free? Yep, it is free for everyone. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
