Stacey Plaskett presenting the St. Croix Foundation with check.](. Stacey Plaskett presenting Liberty Place with a check. ]( Both organizations have devoted themselves to creating opportunities – and tackling the challenges we face in our communities. The St. Croix Foundation strives for progressive, community-rooted philanthropic approaches as they work to combat the social and economic challenges facing working families. As part of my initiative to advance development, I’m excited to be able to grant St. Croix $1 million towards helping to provide access to affordable housing, clean energy and critical telecommunications infrastructure across the Virgin Islands! In addition, I had the pleasure of awarding Liberty Place, a LGBTQ+ youth focused non-profit, with $1.9 million towards their efforts in amplifying diversity and positive self-identity for LGBTQ+ youth. Their close work with legislators to end discrimination and abuse is vital in making sure all of our communities are inclusive and equitable. [{NAME}, it is only through your support that I’m able to advocate for these great causes and continue to deliver wins for all of us at home and across the country. If you would like to join me in growing my vision for a better and brighter future for everyone, please consider chipping in to help my team and I work for you.]( [CHIP IN]( Thank you, {NAME}. Representing the U.S. Virgin Islands, she is ready to continue speaking truth to power, putting people over politics and finally achieving full statehood for Puerto Rico, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and any territory ready for full inclusion in America.
