As someone who has made history, I know I stand on the shoulders of many Black women who blazed the trail of justice before me. [Plaskett for Congress]( ["The world watched us. The world is still watching us." - Stacey Plaskett, the first impeachment manager from a U.S. Territory]( [DONATE TO STACEY]( {NAME}, As someone who has made history in my career, I know I stand on the shoulders of many Black women who blazed the trail of justice before me. I think of Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman to serve in Congress in the 1970s, and her historical run for the Democratic Party’s nomination for President of the United States. I think of Patricia Robert Harris, the first Black woman to ever serve in the United States Cabinet under President Carter. And I think of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, who recently rose to become the first Black woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. These women have inspired me to build a career of service and keep fighting for progress, and I will continue to walk in their footsteps every day. [This Black History Month, I hope you will dedicate yourself to making change in this world and join me by making a generous donation to my campaign!]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [$5]( [$15]( [$25]( [$100]( [$250]( [Other]( Thank you for your support, Stacey Plaskett --------------------------------------------------------------- [Facebook]( Stacey Plaskett wasn't afraid to stand up to Donald Trump during his second impeachment trial.
