The latest trail and downcoutry bikes put to the test, & more [View this email in your browser]( Weâre back at it testing and comparing bikes in the Fall Field Test, putting them up against each other in countless back-to-back laps on some challenging wet weather and rough terrain in Pemberton, BC. While we know that the new enduro and downhill bikes usually garner the most interest on the site, this fall we selected twelve of the latest trail and downcoutry bikes to face off against each other for all of the riders that spend more time on bikes with a little less suspension. [Follow along]( as our five testers/editors, (Mike Kazimer, Alicia Leggett, Matt Beer, Henry Quinney, and of course Mike Levy), present the six downcountry reviews and arguments first, followed by all of the trail bike videos, before we wrap everything up with the climbing and hucking that we are all here for. This week we also reached out to several brands that are missing an eMTB in their lineup to ask them why they havenât released one yet, and what, if any, difficulties there are that could stop them from launching one in the future. We also take a first look at the 2022 Orbea Rise Hydro with its bigger battery and lower price, put contestants to the test on the impossible climb in the latest episode of Pinkbike Academy, and check out Tommy Wilkinson's setup for one-armed riding. - Chris McLeod
